hi,
Movie Demo added.

Hey man, I am REALLY having fun with this app!!! 8)

I am having a bit of difficulty comprehending the "TEMPO" parameter(s) however. What exactly are the "values" (shown) representative of, and their relationships, e.g. the numbers shown across the top of the screen as "1-0" and the number on the tempo knob itself??? I can't seem to grasp it.

Additionally: A couple of potential "bugs":

Note that ALL of the following are shown with a "0" tempo knob setting, and yet they all play with a very distinctly different "tempo", all other settings being unchanged.

A true "0" (achieved by clicking on the knob after it is set at 0) shows no vertical lines (over the image) for the tempo, and plays smoothly.

Also: The "mononchrome" button doesn't toggle back and forth (between 'original' and altered) like the "invert" button does, which would be cool.

Thanks again for this... it is SO cool!!!

LOL
I find an image editor to be an obvious important tool using this. It has been such a fun thing and, although not totally novel to me, the ease of opening images of different formats and sizes makes it so.very.easy to use.
It has been rock-solid as a plug-in on my system with no hiccups that I wouldn't expect.

I do wish it had slightly better options to filter out some of the trash harmonics but whatever...

currently my no.1 choice

Thank you so much
for entertaining porpoises only

that's an incredible instrument !congratulations, really! :D
first sorry for my bad english...
just a little suggestion, maybe a loop fonction could be a nice addition ( maybe two faders for start and end, like the sustain point of NoteGraphica for exemple).it could be insteresting to loop a part of a picture, and after that release the rest of the picture and time ligne. this give the possibility to make some rythmic loops too.

sure in my top 5

hello, thanks for the comments :)

Today, i updated to ver 1.02.
just for fix the value resolution problem.

the monochrom / invert buttons are both directly change the original image. but just invert twice will turn back to the original. anyway, i agree to the toggling is more convenient.

It's true that the high harmonics may be too strong in natural pictures as it now stands. some filters may be better.

about loop function, i think so too. it will expand possibilities.

additional features will be investigated in the future.

Thank you :)

You got my vote. I'm not fan usually of picture to sound stuff but yours produces really nice sounds.
You can't always get what you waaaant...

Post

wow!
this is truly awesome!
the only thing i don't quite get is the tempo.is a percentage or something?
it would be good if you could enter numerically.
and bpm drag n drop to paint programs would be cool.

but wow,this is da bomb.:)

ive updated Spectrobits to 1.03 on my site.
http://www.g200kg.com/en/software/spectrobits.html

ver 1.03
* loop function is added
* lowpass filter is added for compensate too strong harmonics

(i believe the feature adding update restriction is ended. right?)
(should i leave the entry page on KVR as it is?)
