As far as I'm aware, the install options are fixed and are required to be fixed by the synths.

I really appreciate the fast responses in the forum and also the PM you've sent me about the demo! Good conversation between developers and customers (and potential customers) is imo very important.

Finally jumped into DCAM: Synth Squad after trying the demo - just, what was missing in my plugin collection - love these raw, dry and dirty sounds.
Also the video tutorials are really superb - thanks for that !

One question: is it anyhow possible, to use the synth fx with stereo audio sources (mean: as a stereo FX) ?
If so, it might be a good topic for another Quick tip

However, come to think of it, there are tricks that can make some very lush sounds. So here's a quick tip for making smooth and creamy pads in Cypher (if it hasn't been posted already) :

- select at least 2 note unison in the Settings part, bring voice count to 9 or 10 (the more the better if the CPU allows).
- in Transmod, select 'Unison1+- via 1'. This will be used to modulate a few things like:
- pitch Fine
- each oscillators 'beat' parameter.
- Amp Pan

Assign as much or as little 'Unison+-' as you desire. Creme de la creme.

Good tip himalaya! You also might like to try the MRand and VMRand mod sources. MRand has a new random number for every parameter for every key on. The VMRand has a random fixed random number for every parameter of every voice. This latter source is great for getting some variation similar to old analog synths that are out of calibration so each voice sounds slightly different.

You can make the fx versions of the synths stereo by:

1) insert an fx version of the synths on a stereo audio track
2) set the voices and unison to 2
3) have a single oscillator with white noise turned up and turn down all the other oscillators
4) pick the mod source "Unison1+-" and assign this to pan, with the main value at the center and the moduation value at full. this not only pans the output, but cross fades the audio input
5) click the hold button and click then click on any note and you will hear the stereo audio of the track

Yeah! These two are very important, and are the key to that analogue 'organic drift'.

I just wish there was more modulation slots !

BTW. I forgot to mention...that the high voice count is important here as personally I would set a long release time in the Amp envelope. This will create a nice ambient effect with the sound xrossfading during chord transitions and the high voice count will prevent from note stealing on big chords. ( this in itself isn't that big of a revelation, lol, but the tendency is to keep all sounds at minimum voice count. However, if I have lots of CPU to spare, I'd always use it to calculate those long and smooth release stages in pads

would reaaaaally appreciate standalones of a few key fx - amber's chorus and strobe's filter especially - as standalone dedicated vst fx, without any of the stuffing around you need to do to get them working normally.

i use amber's chorus on all sorts of stuff (it's amazing) but it's a real pain to hook up.
