If so, it might be a good topic for another Quick tip ;-)

You can make the fx versions of the synths stereo by:

1) insert an fx version of the synths on a stereo audio track
2) set the voices and unison to 2
3) have a single oscillator with white noise turned up and turn down all the other oscillators
4) pick the mod source "Unison1+-" and assign this to pan, with the main value at the center and the moduation value at full. this not only pans the output, but cross fades the audio input
5) click the hold button and click then click on any note and you will hear the stereo audio of the track
would reaaaaally appreciate standalones of a few key fx - amber's chorus and strobe's filter especially - as standalone dedicated vst fx, without any of the stuffing around you need to do to get them working normally.

i use amber's chorus on all sorts of stuff (it's amazing) but it's a real pain to hook up.
Strobe's N2P2N2 filter combined with flexibility of lfo gives a Really Mean Phaser :D
Cypher's S&H and filter crossmodulation are not to be underestimated too...

I DLd the demo for Mac AU the other day to check these out, and I gotta say... that internet splash screen thing everytime I load the instrument is really annoying! To the point I unloaded the whole thing shortly after. Is that supposed to work that way? Evertime you load an instrument "during" the trial period...

I haven't really been following this "massive" thread but I was really underwhelmed by these synths. Is the idea behind these to closely emulate real analog synths? If so, maybe that part is sucessful. But as far as doing something new, and or different, I think combining these synths might achieve that in the Fusor thing, but at a very high CPU hit... at least on my 2.2 Core 2 Duo machine. Maybe I was a little annoyed with that splash screen thing, they do look good! :)

Don't want to sound like I'm slamming this product, because I have the utmost respect for you guys work!

Yep, the splash screen is just insane. I was getting that on my mac too. I think it was fixed for pc, imho, once is enough!

People are either going to buy, not be interested, or use the product illegally.

but if you are going to release a demo for this community, you should assume most will be lawful buyers. And try not to, "pester."

WTF?
I can't belive fxpansion's programmers are so lame that they are unable to do even a proper installer...

Just posted a review of Strobe over at Plughugger.

Even though it's just a review of Strobe (the other two will follow, but don't hold your breath) it covers a lot of common ground for all Synth Squad synthesizers.

Check it out here.
