hi,
i would really love to be able to produce a delay where each delay plays the sample in reverse. is this possible with any Ex Sl plugins? I tried with augustus... and it kind of worked but it also produced the sound of the tape slowing down and speeding up again. i just want a reverse delay without this kind of tape sound. is that possible?
thanks,
alex

Try Crossfade Loop Synth Effect, that should do it.
Or Meringue, which doesn't quite do what you describe, but does something similar and possibly of interest.

Do you mind explaining how this is done as an audio insert, not as a synth? I tried simply adding the Crossfade Loop Synth as a plugin but am at a loss on what to do to get my audio into it!
Granted I didn't download the manual, so I'll do that now and take a look. But any advice would be appreciated.
Also, is this plugin able to do what "Backwards Machine" from "The Sound Guy" does? I like how easy it is to do reverse / reverse delays with this plugin, but its very unfortunate it does not sync to my host tempo, and is notecontrollable by beats / subdivision!! Even though your plug is a little more expensive, if I am able to control these features with your crossfade loop synth it would be worth it!
Thanks
p.s. On a somewhat related note, is Crossfade Loop Synth able to do the same things meringue does?

That would be a good plan. Ask again if you have any questions after reading that.LGK_Dude wrote:Granted I didn't download the manual, so I'll do that now and take a look.
From a quick look at the website, I would say yes.LGK_Dude wrote:Also, is this plugin able to do what "Backwards Machine" from "The Sound Guy" does?
No, Meringue works in a different way.LGK_Dude wrote:p.s. On a somewhat related note, is Crossfade Loop Synth able to do the same things meringue does?
