Hello everyone.
Since today seems to be drama day, has anyone seen Scott Kane, the skin designer?
I was transacting with him and all of a sudden he was gone - no PMs now for several weeks.
If anyone has spoken with him, please have him PM me as soon as possible.
Thank you.
Mike

Scott and I had a big blowup when he was making a GUI for me. I blamed it on the language barrier, but it seems he just couldn't understand what I needed. Then, it was a matter of he didn't think I could do what needed to be done in SE. Then he just lost interest. Thus, Cymbiant XL died a quiet death. Scott's very talented, but....

I know Scott was making the skin for Jamstix3 but it was delayed because Scott decided to stop or something. I don't know the details.
Hope everything is gonna be ok for you Karmacomposer, can't wait for SuperCore!

There's also White Tie. He's done the Stillwell stuff, Reaper, and the new Focusrite Scarlett series.

The background is very distracting. Regarding Mr. Kane, I don't think this is the first time he vanished.

It's quite obvious the person who did this is an ameteur.

This GUI may not be that pretty or professional but it's far from ugly, IMHO. Just a bit distracting.bluelife wrote:It's quite obvious the person who did this is an ameteur.
Limeflavour has created some fantastic, pro-grade GUIs for Oatmeal and Atlantis (they both needed a decent skin) and he could be designing GUIs for any respected company out there. So I wouldn't call him an amateur.

If it's the same Limeflavour that created the new default Wusikstation skin then yes he is a talented designer not only graphically but in terms of understanding workflow. His Wusikstation skin makes using WS easier for me and that's what it's all about.parry316raver wrote:Hi guys, Anders Limeflavour has just done a new skin for me.

I don't know where this hideous abomination came from but I doubt Limflavour had anything to do with the background image unless he was really high or held at gunpoint.
EDIT: OK now I get it. Limeflavour did this skin for your new Wusik Engine product. Man he must have cringed all the way. Sorry but it makes my eyes bleed.

Get rid of the Acid Flashback inducing kaleidoscopic background and replace it with a neutral gray and you'd have a winner that could be used for hours on end with little eye fatigue. All in my opinion of course.
