I've asked this over at the NI forum, but I usually get quicker - and sometimes better - answers here.
Is there a way to load .nki files as instruments and arranged in the cells as such, instead of each .wav file loading itself into a cell?
Thanks.
Steve

As I answered in your thread over in the Battery forum, only if the .nki's from Kontakt 1.5 or earlier. Kontakt 2 and up .nkis won't load.

Has anyone had success using Chicken Systems Translator to convert .nki files into Battery kits? It supposedly will do this, but I'm not clear as to how. I don't want to spend $79 on the NI version of Translator, just to have it bust .nki files up into dozens of .wav files. Basically, I need the Kontakt zones to each occupy its own cell.
Cheers.
