How do I use my pc keyboard to trigger midi notes in the sequencer. I don't have an external midi keyboard. I am using Energy XT 2.5

You can simply route a virtual keyboard plugin into the sequencer (need to add a midi track first so a midi input appears on the sequncer comp). Then any keypresses generate midi messages that can be recorded just like if you were using a normal keyboard.
I use Trollo though that appears to be no longer available, maybe still up somewhere if you google a bit... Plenty of others around though.
