hi peter, if i remember correctly i received one of your news mails during the first half of the year announcing something new from linplug during 2009?
are there still plans for a new linplug synth, drummachine, update for octopus etc. in 2009? or maybe let me put it that way: should i put aside some money for a linplug christmas present?
cheers and keep up the good work

Hi Gosh,
we had some sound-sets this year for RMV and CronoX as well as some updates. We have some (free) updates in the pipeline to appear during the next weeks. our main and major project was originally scheduled to appear for christmas. Due to some rethinking we changed both the product as well as the schedule, which now rather looks like February 2010. Anyway, its a product that you can buy without consulting your bank for a credit ;)

For Christmas time we probably run some special offer on existing products.

hi peter, thanks for the reply. as i have all your instruments (with the exception of saxlab) and most of the soundsets i will wait for february then. good to hear that it won't be too expensive. based on the quality of linplugs products and the nice support i have received from you several times i'm really looking forward to any new linplug vst. do you care to give a little hint what the upcoming product may be (synth?)?
cheers

Any clues? ;)

its our cheapest product ever, but its not free.

Post

please don't let it be something for the i-phone (like ik multimedia). a reverb or multi fx vst based on your instruments fx would be very much appreciated here.
cheers

I saw the IK Multimedia app, it looks interesting for "ad-hoc" musicians (or better said someone who likes to play with a pre-defined set of loops), its cool somewhat, but I wouldnt do such a thing.

well, actually to me every hint I could offer would almost sure reveal it ... I need to think of more unuseable hints :)

Something along the lines of: This plug-in type does not begin with the letter 'P'? :hihi:
