Hey all, I'm new to ZynAdd... (I downloaded Dyne:bolic and have been messing around with it) I love the synth its highly programmable, sounds good, and the on board effects are good. My only problem is that the GUI is really cramped up, the labels on the buttons run into each other and everything is generally to close together. So my question is, is there a way to change aspects of the GUI natively or is it more of an issue with Dyne?

Hi to everyone,
I am trying to get help for the weird looking interface of Zyn running on Ubuntu.
As in the post I am replying to, Zyn looks totally cramped. Does anybody have a clue if there is anything I can do to change this this?
The program itself runs fine. It is just that the labels don't fit.

You are probably using version 2.21.
That version had an issue with font sizes.
Download the newest version from Sourceforge:
http://downloads.sourceforge.net/projec ... ror=switch
you'll have to compile it, though. It's no big deal, when you have all the correct libraries. Read the README file, instructions for compiling should be in there somewhere.

I tried to compile the 2.4 Version from sorceforge but ran into problems.
Then I dared to see if there maybe were any newer "official" Ubuntu (or Debian) packages... and voilà:
