Pretty generic saw pad sound, that all most all VA's can make.

Pull up a few OSC's (3 would be the best) set them all to SAWs. You could detune OSC's 2 & 3 just a touch for added thickness, but steer away from getting that phassy sound.

You prob won't need to worry about normal pad ENV's here since it's a pretty 'straight ahead' kinda sound. Just a have a shortish ATTACK, and MAX DECAY & SUSTAIN. You could put a little release on it if you wish.

Use a lowpass filter with a touch of resonance to filter up the sound (like at the start of the track).

Make sure also that you play nice thick open voiced chords. So say the chord was CMajor, don't just play the triad C-E-G, add a lower C-G and higher C as well to give it a nice big thick sound.

Hope that helps :)
Sound Engineer / Musician / Producer......but I'm always learning.

So what VST did you hvae in mind to recreate this sound? Im usin cubase 5 & sylenth1 on a mac and my tweaking didnt sound anything like that. :( Im basically looking to make the pad you have on the stalker remix you did (great remix by the way)

Congratulations. That is definitely the most horrible remix, of any recent ML track, that I have heard. Meanwhile, try dual saws, de-tune 15 - 35 cents, 10 mili attack on the amp, 50 percent decay, 90 percent sustain, 100 mili release. 80 - 150 mili attack on the filter, coupled with 40% decay, 70% sustain, 50 mili release. Sounds like a LP 24 with 60, 65 % resonance......

And you can definitely do this on Sylenth1
