hi, Simmer down, I'm here
current version is 0.98d.
but the crashing problem is serious. I think this is caused by memory leaks.
currently I'm investigating. hopefully, update by this weekend.

Hi g200kg,
any chance at getting the drawing tools on a floating menu?
It would also be convient if the library was a drag n' drop deal, so when the library is selected in the pref or the file is selected there would be a always open menu that we can drag from or drag to.

hi,
SkinMan ver 0.99 is released
* BugFix: memory leaks, that may cause crash
* Image files can be Drag&Drop from Explorer to SkinMan
http://www.g200kg.com/en/software/skinman.html
A document added about cooperation with KnobMan (and others)
http://www.g200kg.com/en/docs/skinman/cooperation.html
I hope this version solve the crashing. Let me know if you still have problems.
or just need a regular triangle?

Is that means you want to specify the angle (ex. in degree)?Kriminal wrote:BTW, anyone know how to creat a right angle triangle? i cant do it for the life of me

just a regular triangle that i can change the length of the sides for really, but it must be able to make right angled trianglesg200kg wrote:Is that means you want to specify the angle (ex. in degree)?Kriminal wrote:BTW, anyone know how to creat a right angle triangle? i cant do it for the life of me

hmm, with the polygontool, that will be regular triangle if the SizeX=SizeY.Kriminal wrote:just a regular triangle that i can change the length of the sides for really, but it must be able to make right angled trianglesg200kg wrote:Is that means you want to specify the angle (ex. in degree)?Kriminal wrote:BTW, anyone know how to creat a right angle triangle? i cant do it for the life of me

that is not enough? may be want to specify the length of the sides by pixels?

Oh sorry I see.Kriminal wrote:thats not a right angled triangle (ie the inside angle of one corner is should be 90 degrees)
i mean this
you had better use 'Shape' tool and click 3 vertex points and close.
(If you want to edit each vertex point, use 'Edit Shape' from right click menu and drag with CTRL key (otherwise, the lines will be a curve))

how about this?

hi g200kg,
i also have a feature request, maybe it's easy for you to add it:
- i'd like to be able to put a gradient also on images (with the gradient
tool). i.e. the image "fades" into a specified colour, or (even more
important): fade into transparency, so whatever is lying under the image,
becomes visible ...
would that be possible?
and one thing that bothers me a lot since ages:
- absolute sizes for fonts. additional to how it is now.
right now the fonts sizing is relative to the canvas.
if you change the canvas to bigger, the fonts do so, too, and
vice versa. i understand why that is so, in a lot of cases the
font is actually part of the gui-art. but often, when i do gui's,
i'd like to use none-antialiased bitmap fonts, which only work
on specific sizes (i.e.
. these specific sizes have to be the
same as specified in the system, i.e. when i set the font in
skinman to "8", it:
a) should be really exactly "8", just like in win itself.
b) it mustn't change when the gui canvas or the text object is
changed in size.
of course, this behaviour is not always necessary, so i'd like to
have something like a switch or a tickbox that switches the font
size from "relative" to "absolute".
that would be a hughe step forward, in my opinion.
what do you say?

let me know some more info:
did you get some alert? or just freeze, or terminated?
is it only occured on a specific file (probably huge?)
could you check the memory consumption by TaskManager? still has allowance?
can you send me the .skin-file for investigation?
though need a little investigation, interesting.brok landers wrote:- i'd like to be able to put a gradient also on images (with the gradient tool).
'Text' primitives already have the 'AutoSize' option(in default 'checked').brok landers wrote:- - absolute sizes for fonts.
if you off this option, the font size/aspect will be fixed.
please confirm
