Sounds already warmer :-o

Seriously, I can't find the Backgroung png, is it coded?
you can use bg.svg or bg.png for the background in the next version.

you can now choose skins from the main menu, so yes the "wood" skin is optional. also, of course you can remove or replace wood1.png and wood2.png to get rid of the wood sides in the default skin.

+1 for the new skin being optional; the wooden side panels just add the right amount of that analog warmth; together with the more metallic, darker middle they form the right setting for this beauty. And wouldn't the patended warmth algorithm run into overdrive from all that wood? :hihi:

Two feature requests:
- memorizing of last used folder also for loading/saving waveforms (i like to have my patches and osc waves in a kind of safe place, not in the vstplugins dir)
- the possibility to have two sources modulate one destination to add even more life (only if this would not result in eating entire CPUs for breakfast)

What is FilterPower? I could not figure out what it does exactly.

Those tiny Sync buttons on the LFOs look quite interesting there. =)

And here are some more patches, partly making use of 'red' modulation and altered waveforms. There also are some waveforms in there that have been excited by the mighty D-Pole. (only include if you want to)

Oh, I didn't notice you can import your own waves...
this MrALias is getting more and more interesting everyday :D

Ok, I tried the wav import and got some pretty convincing accoustic basses :D

Yep, prefer it much more than challenge/response, too.

that will happen when i add the wooden knobs.

first one is done. i'll experiment with multiple sources per destination once this official update is out...

it just turns on and off the filter.

i think they might be there in the last windows beta version i uploaded.

thanks once again! i guess it would be a good idea to include some extra waveforms...

i think it's done... here is a release candidate:

Windows VST
Mac VST
Mac AU

some of the changes:
- added "Wood" skin
- added "P" button to assignable envelope
- added tempo sync for LFOs
- assign modulation from each control's right-click menu
- drawable waveform folder is remembered in settings.ini
- ???
- bug fixes

once the manual is updated and i organize the new patches, it'll be released.

Hi Mr Piz,

I found a bug with the LFO sync inside FL9
I created a patch:
LFO1, Sync, dest: Cut off
LFO2, Sync, dest: LFO1 rate

When I play a note with the piano roll, the 2 LFO are sync, even if there rate are not the same :?
If I remember well it only happens if the LFOs are sync to tempo

Well actually it seems wore complicated, as I just tried to reproduce it and this time, the LFO2 is acting really weird
Here is the patch:
http://www.box.net/shared/v41en4an9d

And Again, listen to MrAlias going Jazz (semi-realistic Accoustic bass presets to download with crappy MP3 preview) :x

In case you missed it the last time ;)

thanks, i think found the bug. in one place both LFOs were being set to the first one's rate. in this patch you uploaded, LFO2 is only assigned to its own rate, but i don't see anything weird about it...

anyway, try this version:
http://thepiz.org/mralias2/MrAliasPro24_WinVST_RC2.zip

and those bass patches are great. very professional.

http://thepiz.org/mralias2/MrAliasPro24_WinVST_RC2.zip, if I may be so bold.

(It needed the version number 24.)
