Thanks, James
I made a new little demo showing performing a little bit more in-depth. I start a longer video tutorial tomorrow :)

Also, I always look for plugins/hosts that can rely only a no controller setup as I am on a laptop away from my controller/s many times. What can be achieved with no controller and the livemachine?

Thanks in advance, James

I use Cantabile with a built it's on screen keyboard (The keyboard capture feature allows playing of notes from your PC keyboard)on my laptop, so I assume that would suffice for controlling the live machine?

Livemachine's effects react to MIDI notes ranging from Note 36 (C3?) to 96. There are also tool tips that inform about what onscreen control can be controlled externally / what default mapping. For now you can also turn input and recording channels on and off using this way.

You can do almost everything with the mouse, yes, and - an onscreen keyboard could be a start - but to have real fun with Livemachine, an external controller (or two!) is unavoidable :)

Looking at the GUI jpeg, i assume one can trigger all the 6 loop "tracks" simultaneously by assigning the "on" buttons to one MIDI note/CC?

Is there a maximum time duration when loading .wav files into the loop tracks (2 bars etc.) or is it unlimited?

Exactly, for now they will be triggerd automatically (in sync with host) but you can turn them on/off using MIDI notes/CC's.

There's no time limit. For now, tracks will be played that end of file = end of loop (max 4 bars). (depending on host BPM)

...that voice controlled synth in yesterday's demo video sounds very interesting - could you tell a bit about how it works?

...cooler track in dem zweiten video - verstehe zwar nicht, was du da alles machst, aber es klingt sehr gut...

I'm really looking forward to this one. I've been itching to try my hand at live looping composition/performance and this looks awesome. I love the way the gui looks too.

Sure! It tries to track/follow the vocal pitch and applies that to 3 saw-oscillators. The volume will be tracked too and routed to a lowpassfilter! :)
For now there's only this one mode, i plan to have at least 3 very different modes in the final release that you can switch using a certain MIDI note.

Danke! Es folgt bald ein langes Tutorialvideo, wo ich alles haargenau erklären werde :)

@Ugo: Thank you! Glad to hear that :D

...so the voice's pitch determins the synth's pitch and the volume of the voice controls the filter? like triggering a filter via an envelope follower?

danke! :)

Damn DivX :x Damn CamStudio? Don't know - have to re-do my TeachingVideo because of f***** up Screenrecording. 15 minutes down the drain

So, you have to wait a little longer for the Indepth or "Livemachine Explained" Video... have to do it again now :)

Hey man,

The wording on your site implies that preordering means that a buyer will
save $65 USD
Like normal price minus $65. So the pre-order price without loops would appear to be $34. Maybe you could clarify with a colon, like so
save: $65 USD
or
save: only $65 USD!!!!!!!
Anyway, it looks cool & fun, looking forward to the demo.

You're right, sounds a bit misleading, will change that ... oh and, you can only pre-order the fullversion for now (with audiolibrary, released 1-2 weeks later).

Thanks :)

No problemo - I'm looking forward to trying out a new toy. I love how I can hide VST from my wife so easily...
