I did some reviews. But first, an apology: if Autotuning Barney isn't against the Geneva Convention, it really ought to be. Not only that, it's not even real Autotune but a copycat effect rigged up with a couple of the built-in Logic plugs.
Actually, they're not really reviews but stream of consciousness notes I put down while listening. Here goes:
Vespers75 - Bitter Seed - You'll be needing some throat lozenges then. Kind of chirpy for, um, whichever metal genre this is - never really got into the screamy, chuggy metal stuff. Well arranged
Patrick9 - Go Down - Made me think of Severed Heads (except Tom Ellard can't really sing) and then more of Chrome and Suicide. I enjoyed it - a bit too monotonous in parts and, considering the theme, could be more dischordant.
Robojam - Meat - Breakbeat meets the Damned. Love the bass guitar on this, chewy enough to eat, like a piece of meat.
Lady J - P-Oed - You're probably going to hate this bit: but a bit like putting Hole into the backwards time machine. Goes in Malibu, comes out Pretty on the Inside. Liked the constrast between the mushy-pea, rotating-head vocals and the melodic vocals.
Timewaste - Laguna Rising - Psychedelic. Started off in mutant Pink Floyd (old Floyd that is) and then moved into ELP. Stab that organ. I was kind of hoping for a bit of Benny the Bouncer ("and naw 'e's the barncer for St Peeter in the skyyyyyah") at the end but kept me entertained for three minutes.
Shrikant - What - Deceptive start. Sound a bit like F*** Buttons after they've discovered there is something going on under the drone and decide to play that instead.
Laura Michel Jarre - Who Do I Have to Sleep With? - Marvellous. Think what this would be like with real strings and a big band. The end could do with a bit of work but that's a real tiny nitpick on this great song and arrangement.
Voidoid Surrealist - Your Death is in My Hands - Xmas was always difficult in the Nivek Ogre household. You ask him to pass the peas and this is how it goes. You want to hear him complain about stuff. But seriously, this was more unsettling than I expected it to be. Good job.
Beanpole - Fuct - Punk. With a bridge. It's the right answer. Good song.
Jerru - All Hail the King - Thinking about it, this is one guaranteed to make people angry. If you don't agree, you're angry. If you do, you get riled up about the sentiment. Good call. Good song too. The influences are whirling around the back of my head - can't quite place them.
D H Miltz - Police Stuff - More punk. This is a public service announcement, with recorders! Amazing what you can get into 1:34.
Folderol - Song - That's just annoying. The false endings are genius though. Is it over? No, there's more. Are we there yet? No, there's more. I confess, I fast-forwarded to the end.
Knockman - Without Unreason - Soothing. Handy for the interval when Terry Riley has to have a break.
Echo Voodoo - Who's Watching the Kids? - Hats off for the only song that was deep down proper angry.
Bearded One - Stop Worrying - And the whale decided, after a long time, it was a bit miffed. I enjoyed it.
Aziraphal - Burn It All Down - Inside there's a real blade of grass. Enjoy the show. Production values: doubleplusgood.
Solium - Seul je Rumine Lentement Toute ma Haine - The people in the TV are now playing speed metal. They're coming. I did kind of want something to happen in this one.
Psy-T - Shut Up - One day, the Orb get up and realise they are old(er). This is that moment.
Nikp2000 - Bobbleheads - Bobblehead surf punks must die: makes sense to me. Like the megaphone vocals and the solo - got a lot into 1:23.
Farlukar - Lotted - Moody. No obvious trace of a melody (OK there's a bit of arpeggio) - nice take on the theme.
Max El Belga - Sheet - Oh, this is good. With the rap, could have made more of the anger theme but it's nicely put together.
Mr Blitz - Angry Surf - The Pere Ubu is strong in this one. Not angry but neat in the way it almost spirals out of control but hangs on by its fingernails.
Zombie Queen - Is Reason Better Than Logic? - Right from the beginning, you know you're going to be questioning both by the end. By the end I liked it...See what I mean?
Mtili - Alienation - There's a howling wind blowing. It's howling for you. Cathartic at first. But the arpeggios from halfway through got a bit on my nerves in the end.

Chuck E Jesus - Facetime - Needs moar Autotoon. Samples + noisy synths = industrial. Good formula, still works.
rp314 - In Memoriam Dickie Peterson - Gothic.
S.HUSH - Never/Howard - A rick-roll. Twice. Nurse, nurse, quickly. The sutures. I fear my abdomen may have come apart during all this ribaldry.

Aziraphal - Burn it All Down.
This had some great quotes: George Zamfir pan flutes, Richard Clayderman, Louis Armstrong, and even John Williams. All done in the style of "Moscow" Moscow by Genghis Khan.
Enough to make even me angry!
The samples and production are stellar. The German accent is wonderful. I love this. I'm pissed off because it's so catchy.
Lady J - Pissed Off
I liked the tape stretch effect. The vocals and machine gun drumming and guitar work (especially on a black Hello Kitty strat). This sounds so good - like a commercial release.
Tom G - Evil
This is 3:45 too short. Would have liked some more exciter on the vocals and some EQ on the backing so the vocals sit more in your face. Menacing and scary.
Shrikant - So What
Nice noises - almost Peter Gabriel from Passion or Birdy at the start. The octaves on synth annoyed me - so good work. The chromatic modulation was really perfect in raising my blood pressure.
Beardedone - Stop Worrying
Great opening - really nice choice of sounds. Dark and disturbing as my ear went looking for a tonal centre. This could have been built more, around the ring modulation section, but the three minutes was well structured and well done!
Chuck E Jesus - Facetime
The metallic percussion noises and heavy modulation was a standout. Really sounded angry and fuming. The vocals are great too although I wanted to hear more of the distorted vocals. Great soundscape.
mtilli - Alienation
Nice guitar work, and a wonderful thrash piece. Your diction in the bridge was stellar. REALLY ANGRY!!!
S.HUSH - Never Gonna Give You Up (Quacked out remix)
Rick Astley fathered all those performers? I've been Lick-Rolled! You want to watch the human rights violation on cymbals. That made me angry. Coming soon to a shopping centre near you! Musser vibes deserve better. That makes me really angry.

More vague, unhelpful comments:
shrikant - So What -> Suspense soundtrack. You dip into a harsher pallette of sounds than normal. I like the background to most of the track quite a bit, a mellow backdrop to the more stressful lead sounds. Ending feels abrupt.
Beardedone - Stop Worrying -> Mellow and spacey. Totally relaxed. Soothing. It's like time-travelling to a different month (and thus, an entirely different theme). The face of rebellion is so totally chilled.
Chuck E. Jesus - Facetime -> Dystopian sci-fi future; things aren't looking good. Not so much anger or annoyance as bleak and broken fear and confusion. Lovely work.
mtilli - Alienation -> For a minute there, I had an image of the Alien chasing Ripley down a tight corridor. The lead guitar bit in the last third is the highlight of this track for me.
