Finally here we are:

AlienSpaceWeaver

Well, this is no ordinary synth as it is especially made for spacy or dark athmospheric backgrounds. Thus play it slowly and let the sounds evolve. As of this you might notice there are no ADSR EG, Well, that's right! There is only one A(ttack) & R(elease) VCA EG while all modulations are done by LFO.

Osc. 2 contains only 30 samples (75 in Pro ver) but these are fairly long ones which have been created from images thus the partly funny sounding or German names. To make use of these long samples hold down one or a few more keys and listen. Osc. 1 contains a collection of my special FX sounds known from my other VSTi synthesizers to add some more flavour to Osc. 2 waves.

Yet there is more to come! The special holidays introductionary offer entitles to a free Addon waveset of 25 more image generated waves for osc. 2 provided until Dec 31, 2009

Soon there will be at least three additional patchbanks available via the kvr patch archive. So there will be 768 patches available.

Also in preparation is a waveset generated from seamless texture images. Probably available not before January 2010.

No, no, no... what occurs in the inner recesses of his (command-line) laboratory is super secret-type stuff, closely guarded by sympathectomized MENSA minions, who communicate exclusively by finger-tapping an archaic form of rice-grain braille, adapted to imitate morse-code.

The "trivia" is a diversionary tactic.

... labworks ... he he ... you'll have to admit those pics sound pretty awesome Though in some cases I did shorten the waves as some of the originals have been more than 20MB in size.
But it's a quite timeconsuming process also as of the length of the generated files requiring time to listen to. But with growing experience that should become more efficient. And I've got heaps of images in stock for secret binary code transformation

So I was checking out this thingie for a short while.

I adjusted several controls and played a few keys. I could have sworn I heard some Spooks hidden in there. Then I discovered the Rheinkultur07 waveform sounds like that!

Nice pictures also. I liked the two Aldeb Band ones, especially the first one... the striking colors and other things. Maybe I should go and hear THAT one converted to a waveform!

Wow, Thank you, love this one, I was playing for a couple minutes one track of Athmonia and one with Arracis Gold and came out some interesting deep ethereal background sound. Athmonia is very useful, I just played around 10 minutes and this came out.

Although there might be some changes I think the existing params will remain, it's more about possible additions. So you might start with probably adopting to later additions.
