What we've got by now:

'Element 115' and 'Nyarlatothep' have a nice background but are less catchy;
'Troposhere' is also really nice and fairly catchy but I'm afraid it is too near to 'Athmosphere' and 'Omnisphere' plugins;
'Arrhythmia' is indicating more rhythmic stuff than floating sounds ...
Anyway there is still time to come up with more suggestions
have fun

jahmagic wrote:My humble suggestion is Troposphere. I am currently reading Bill Bryson's brilliant work, A Short History of Nearly Everything, which won the 2004 Aventis Prize for science books. He comments that the tropospehere is the part of the earth's atmosphere "that is dear to us". The word derives from the Greek: tropos for "turning" or "mixing."

How about Nyarlatothep, HP Lovecrafts enigmatic messenger of the Great Old Ones.
ok, 'Black Hole' is so far most catchy as well knownburkek wrote: Arrhythmia

I have a Name- Kadabra. So I haven't checked the update yet,but I suppose it will have only the two sound slots? Additions could be separate gates or maybe a single arp? The Gui looks very promising and nice buttons too.

I'm proud to say that I'm a happy new owner of AlioNoctis-Pro! Thanks Guenter.
BTW it seems that the first beta of Athmonia had six voices and the second beta three voices. For this type of evolving synth I think that six voices is noticably better sounding than the three voices.
Now I have to install and play with my new synth!

that's right, as this one is probably quite near the final version I did reduce the number of voices to that of the forthcoming free version. However the Pro version will have at least 8 voices.hersoot wrote: BTW it seems that the first beta of Athmonia had six voices and the second beta three voices. Well, an arpeggiator seems fairly unsuited in there .. already I did try some Gating stuff but it did spoil the whole fun of it.
cheers

right, but I'm afraid that this might interfere with Spectrasonics line already ... this has to be avoided, thanks.taotekid wrote:the greek name "Atmosfera" is simple & quite efficient I think,
& with a little twist,
it can become "Atmosfear" which would be quite suitable too

NYX - NYX was the goddess of the night, one of the ancient Protogenoi (first-born elemental gods).
