i don't do tarnce. but i can. with ace, cause it's ace.
maybe it's difficult to get the wanted results if you can't program a synth.
but in what way is that the dev's fault?

I think he just took a joke by Urs seriously (I think its been cleared up now).mnmlfrk wrote:maybe it's difficult to get the wanted results if you can't program a synth.

In fact with stacked voices you can make insane supersaws. Or you can use all five oscillators in saw mode if you want also.
noise and beats: Negutyv Xeiro do people actually click these?

What joke?!? ACE doesn't have SuperSaw. Because it doesn't need to. Phat enuff all withoutxybre wrote:joke by Urs
(only 4 oscillators can be run as sawtooth, LFO1 only as FM feedback oscillator, but the SubOsc is always square)In fact with stacked voices you can make insane supersaws. Or you can use all five oscillators in saw mode if you want also.

However, one can get *massive* SuperSawish sounds with just two oscillators. Try to experiment with small doses of Sync and a bit of Crossmodulation. Or do audiorate pwm. These are all things that create phatspace without the brute force approach of SuperSaw oscillators. Those who don't see it simply don't deserve it. (absolutely not dircted at you, xybre)

And if they'd stick to their turntables they wouldn't have to complain about soft synths being CPU hogs
