I couldn't find an answer to this (maybe I wasn't looking in the right places) Does the referral points system work with payments using paypal?
Yes, I believe they do.

But keep in mind you can't use Paypal on this group buy... at least not until it reaches $99. Once it does we'll have a Paypal option most likely. But we can't do Paypal and not charge until the end like we can with credit cards.

Actually I prefer the credit card as I would rather not have you lose any money to paypal :) I ask this because I had used paypal on my last purchase, because I had some funds in my account, and there were some problems with the order which was resolved (you didn't receive the order notification from paypal though I had paid) I was left wondering if ReverendRhythm got my referral points which I had promised him for his efforts during the Reason group buy :?

Ain't he sweet!

Squids, just to confirm this for me:

Even if I already have Kontakt 3.5, I will still need the Infinite Player to access these Ocean Way drumkits?

This sounds like a great deal...

I know I'm not Squids, but I can answer this. Yes. You will need to install the Infinate Player plug-in.

A few quick questions (not about the Receptor!) after listening some more:

(1) Presumably all of the pan settings can be adjusted?
(2) Are the drum master demos on the group buy page dry, or with controllable room/ambience layered in? I know that certain kits had descriptions of amb or not, but I'm curious how up close and dry the various DM kits could be tweaked to.

Thanks!

I am not Squids either, but the Infinite Player install is required only to 'unlock' the sounds but you don't need to run it to use the sounds..ie they can be used in Kontakt once unlocked.

I'm definitely not Squids... but I have information for him...

I just tried downloading the Free Ocean Way drumkit from way down on the freebies page, and got the following message:

We're Sorry...

freesoundz.php was called without the required efn parameter

The error message above may help you figure out and correct the problem. If you're unable to correct the error, please Click here to report the error to esoundz technical support and our support staff will assist you as soon as possible.

We apologize for any inconvenience.
You might want to look into this. And while you are at it, the first half of the freesoundz page is dedicated to something to do with Motif, which I would assume are things which are not useful to most users unless then have a Motif XS. It is actually kind of confusing, since neither the Reason stuff or the Motif stuff have headings like the stuff further down on the page. I tried to download the free Ocean Way drums in the Motif format, only to find that I could not use it.

You might want to add headings, and/or get all that Motif stuff further down on the page and put the more relevant freebies closer to the top.
