Yes sort of. It' doesn't have to be that melodic and needs to be EQd away from the other one. It's there to reinfore the current bassline and also to add some extra rhythmic interest.

Enjoyed listening to this. The amount of variety and life in this track was a very pleasant suprise - so much in this genre is 8 bar loops repeated over, and over, and over..

The riff at about 2.50 is a bit special!

I found the off-beat bassline a little high in the mix - but I am listening on headphones!

kick ass! great improvements. The bass is sitting better in the mix now and the track has a bit more edge.

If I was writing the tune I'd actually thin some of the ideas out arrangement wise, as it's a bit hectic for my tastes. Just some perspective for you - if you like it this full on then you can disregard this

That synth at 1:26 is really something special. Maybe 1:26 is a bit too early for it's epicness?
