There is a good chance that by the time one figures out how Prydz gets his sound, he will have moved on to something else. Best to craft your own style. Inspiration is a good thing, but that doesn't mean mindlessly aping the sound of a prominent artist.

Also, maybe Prydz wrote to Markus to show his appreciation for Gladiator. Maybe it's his secret weapon.

Well he's a paying customer, most well known producers pay for their plugins by the way.

Then they're missing out.

I know of at least two completely unknown producers/musicians/whatever that recieve plenty of freebies from devs.

This might be what people call endorsing a brand without knowing it. Or spreading confidential and personnal information. :shrug:
