I think the answer is to point out how easy it is to do, rather than distribute the files openly.
To that end, Fastone Image Viewer, and PhotoScape both allow you to select multiple images, and batch convert everything at once.
After converting all the images, ie brighter, less color, greyscale etc, just overwrite the original images, and the gui will appear with your changes.
At the end of the day, you can make all the changes you want, you just cannot distribute them...
Hope this helps.
EDIT - Probably not the correct thread, sorry.
Xenos Ultra Analog banks updated. Now includes the new VA-2 format :).

Well , there you go. Not only have they created great value but they are also encouraging us to distribute our skins. My respect for AAS has increased tremendously for this already superb company. - Scotty

Notice!
I have just got an reply from Eric at AAS about distributing my own skin, I asked if I could share it and they have no problem with that. Eric say there must have been a misunderstanding of some kind, they do allow user skins to be freely distributed. I will point him to this thread by email.

I think there has been a misunderstanding. We have no problem with people host/distribute their own skins! We were not interested in promoting this particular skin ourself but feel free to spread the word about it.Xenos wrote:BTW, for those that are wondering, I did hear back from AAS about Teksonik's new skin and they decided not to let me host/distribute it, nor do they plan on hosting it themselves. Good thing we checked with them first lol.
Check out this new one by Limeflavour.

Note: Because orders are still delivered manually, I should mention that I'll be away for about 6 hours, but will send out any new orders immediately when I get back, so please do not worry if you pay and do not get your product right away. I'll be very happy once we get the shopping cart and automatic delivery because that will be so much more convenient for everyone involved, including me
.

thanks for these skins; very nice. my own attempts looked terrible (i'm a musician, not a graphic artist). thanks.Limeflavour wrote:Notice!

edit: can't get them to work on a mac. the original bitmaps are .png, and the new skin is .bmp. tried converting them, switched them out and when I opened ultra analog it was blank (no GUI at all). any ideas what I am doing wrong? really like your skin though.

I am having this same problem on my Mac, I hope there's some sort of work-around because your skin looks so much better than the stock design.michael2 wrote:thanks for these skins; very nice. my own attempts looked terrible (i'm a musician, not a graphic artist). thanks.Limeflavour wrote:Notice!
