Hi there. I am using EXT2 with 2 USB-Midi Devices, each one has its own Midi In and Out ports (M-Audio Axiom and Roland FP7). I can add / configure 2 different Midi Ins (as written in the manual) and control on ea. track, which MIDI IN should be used. Hovewer, this does not work on the Midi Outs. I can see/activate the Midi Outs in Setup separately, but in the Modular view I can not assign a Midi Out to a specific interface. (There is only "All" selectable under the Device Submenu, whereas for Midi Ins, I can use all devices).

Interesting detail, the Midi Output ist sent to what has been selected in the setup. Changes during an EXT2 session need a restart of EXT2.

Any ideas are much aprechiated. Thx and have a nice take!

hello , the 2 seperate midiinterfaces midiout (apart from being activated in setup) should be assigned in the sequencer module , not as outs in the modular
view ,
multiple audio out interfaces work (i found no problems using 8 audio outs) , of course theres the 1 midi out problem that xt2 has so try to assign
each midiout in its own sequencer module (so 2 seqmodules in modular view)
that will still only give 2 midiouts

Thanks for your advice, unfortunately I have no chance to assign anything to/on any of the two physical Midi (Out) Devices, either in sequencer nor in moduar view. Although, when hoovering over MidiOut it says [Press CTRL+SPACE to edit] in the upper right corner, nothing happens when doing so.

Generally, we have to use a VST to support multiple MIDI outs; this one has given me pretty good results.

But still, multiple MIDI OUT is something that really needs some focus, especially given the much better MIDI IN implementation.
