Hmmm. Just got off the phone with Rush's label. Small possibility Neil Peart could be at NAMM (don't hold your breath but you never know). If so we might be able to get him to come by the SR booth since I am 99% sure we're going to be showing the Neil Peart Drum library for Infinite Player and BFD2 this coming NAMM in LA (if you can go it'd be worth coming by the SR booth!). We will have Terry Bozzio there signing autographs, Danny Gottlieb, Jerry Marotta, John Blackwell, Nick D'Virgilio and maybe Rod Morgenstein was well. I might be doing a thing with Ken Scott and Bill Cobham for the Drum Channel on the 9th or 10th but he won't be around for NAMM unfortunately. Ken will though and he'll sign this cool EpiK DrumS post card we made that has the "movie poster" on it which you can see here: www.epikdrums.com

Oh it's gonna get goooooooood.

C'mon - it's 4 more people for another multiple kit for me!!!

BERFAB, have you tried EZPlayer with Drumcore format midis (cmf)? I tried browsing the Drumcore midi folder without success.

It's like winning a mini-lottery. Fun isn't it? I actually won the lottery the other day. The full potential was 7 million. I won $6. But hey! FREE coffee! I'm not complaining. ;)

FYI AFAIK, EZ Player Pro only works with MIDI files. (I have it - actually 3 licenses for some crazy reason !)

The coolness of EZ Player Pro is that it will remap MIDI notes not formats. For example if drum plug in #1 uses c#2 for cowbell , but drum plugin #2 uses d#3 for cowbell and use have a MIDI loop designed for plugin #1, as long as EZplayer Pro has teh wrapper, it will remap the cowbell on the fly for you without having to create drum maps, etc.

I'm not in front of my DAW at the moment, but as I recall, EZPlayer has a Submersible format (drumcore) which does the translation. The EZPlayer will take MIDI loops and translate them to Drumcore format so that you can play them with Drumcore kits.

You can't translate MIDIs within the DC (or any) software, you have to get them out and into the EZPlayer so it can translate. Usually this means dragging and dropping into the EZP.

This week the Euro lottery main price is 59 million €.

If I win I will seriously consider joining this group buy.

Or buying Ocean Way Studios, I don't know yet.

Hmmm...I don't see a Submersible format. Gonna update to the latest version (1.05) and see if's there.

Its there for the last versions I think. As Berfab said, drag the MIDI to EZPro out of DC to get the .mid file so you can translate it to whatever else you want.

I was happy to pay $50 for it. The fact that it is free with the group buy is pretty cool.
