Bank change message on program change?

So I'm very excited about Cantabile Performer -- it seems like exactly the solution I need for live performance mixing VI and outboard instruments.

However, I've downloaded the demo and am having some difficulty. It seems that whenever I perform a program change from my controller, Cantabile also sends along a bank change message (at least past 65).

Has anyone ever experienced this, and is there a way of turning it off (or at least allow selecting the bank change messages?)

Okay, after a little fiddling around I found the problem was with my MIDI filter that I didn't need.

Each "rack" has the ability to assign an output MIDI port, so I loaded a couple VST instruments and my SC-88; since the MIDI output is the last thing in that chain, simply clicking the last "MIDI pass through" button and ... sweetness!

FYI, I just purchased this host. I like it a lot! Being able to assign a MIDI button to suspend a VSTi is just a dream!

Hi,

Cantabile Performer is the total solution for the live performing!

It includes so many features that you always will find how to solve your setup configuration.

Of course, it is better to read out little bit the manual and explore all features, especially the MIDI Filter and Controller Configurations are some of the best features I never saw in a VST host! Totally programmable and configurable.

Anything you want do, you can do! It's perfect!

I am happy to read this as I struggled a while with Brad to make him finally implement separate plugin suspend during beta development... :D

I just want to add that you have another choice here, you can also bypass a vst slot. That will allow you to not cutting sustained notes while switching already to another subsession with another sound - for the price of a bit more cpu by not suspending the plugin.
Best regards, TiUser
...and keep on jamming...
