AuraPlug - FuzzStone http://www.kvraudio.com/get/3566.html
and FuzzStone[GE] http://www.kvraudio.com/get/3756.html

I've been wanting to try the EFM Fuzz again, I used to have it but deleted it. Some of the EFM VST's are here http://www.synthedit.info/ But the fuzz is not included.

I don't know about big muffs (well, at least not as effect pedals), but I agree that Audio Damage FuzzPlus is a great little plug-in.

Just a bump to add me own new "Muffin Rider" to the short list of big muff emulations.

It is based on 3rd edition.
Hope you like it.
I put extra effort in the two gain stages with those friggin diodes loops.
What they do to the sound is pretty strange.
Those diodes gives the muff an ability to get some hi freqs pass through its bold smooth sustain.
They probably are what makes those fuzz stages pretty unique in the stompbox distortions world.

There are times (late at night usually) when I "kick in" my Russian "PI" and RAWK OUT! I liked it when I was younger but sometimes flat-out ACID RAWK gets ahold of me again... 8)

nothing quite as "pretty" as a 58 year old rocker jumpin' around the spare bedroom @ 3:00 am

The Mofafix BigMuff clone is really awesome.

If you want some face ripping fuzz, I highly recommend his Kung Fuzz 68 as well. It's along the lines of raw, square-wave like buzz.

The one in guitar rig isn't half bad. I used to have a big Muff. Loved that thing.

what is that one one based on? A kinda custom BM circuit?

The american/3rd BM model seems the most popular but I also modelled the triangle 1st edition and ramhead (didn't release them) to see the difference, and quite liked those.
They are less gainy, which probably make them more versatile for non grunge stuff. they also let chords pass through better it seems; Almost a different effect actually.
In the triangle, you do not really get the first gain stage to clip easily as far as I got it.
