'Kyarp' is a programmable monophonic arp synth which adjusts the sequence according to the selectable key. .. so for example, if you create a nice arp with the key set to C, it wil arp away happlily in C if you play a 'C' ... but then if you play a 'D', then it will adjust the sequence to Dm, ( Em, F, G, Am, Bfukd etc ...
Kyarp is to be the One-Synth-Challenge prize for the current competition, so what you will get from the following link ....
http://www.4shared.com/dir/11470853/297 ... ynths.html
... is the scrooge version
All I will tell you is that the upper row of sliders is the pitch seq, and the lower row is the filter arp... also, the fade < and > controls are the attack and release of an adsr which corresponds to the note on/note off, whilst the att, hold, dec correspond to the arped notes.
If you have the patience to flick thru the presets, watch whats goin on, and fart about, you will get get good use out of this beast ... but if you really need a stunning GUI to convince you that you're using the kind of gear your ego thrives on, go suck on a piece of wood!
Anyway, its free .... go get it, try it out, delete it ..... or, if you like whats happening and want a teenzy bit more ..... submit a track to a future One-Synth-Challenge, and you'll get a better, prettier beast with some instructions
mp3 demo to follow.
enjoy!
