What this means is, Squids shows up, stirs the pot, and runs off to some far away land. Probably having Christmas at Sting's French mansion.

While we sit here and pine away for drum kits.... :hihi:
Geez, how can Squidz abandon Miami during Christmas? Perhaps it's cause we have no snow. And you can go to the beach on Christmas day. Can you believe I actually don't like the weather here?!

Anyway, hopefully I'll join the buy tomorrow via PayPal...!

I would love to have a Larry Mullen, Jr. kit, circa Unforgettable Fire, with the timbales...

Glad your going to join us!

BTW, if I remember my trivia correctly. White Christmas was originally written about Miami. They changed it to LA for the movie.

Then again, Silver Bells was originally titled Tinkle Bells.

And here is the GB link: http://www.esoundz.com/details.php?Prod ... ode=USDKVR

Just check what you get!!!!!

You're kidding me, really? I guess that makes total sense. Thanks for the trivia, your Reverence!

"Tinkle Bells" is slightly disturbing...

Is the optional "jazz" kit multi-track or, stereo only?

Thanks,
Rich
I want to bump the thread, but I can't think of anything to talk about. So, Rich, I quoted you. I've got no idea of an answer. But we're at 413 right now.

I don't think Squids has gone on holiday to relax in some foreign land...

I think he has taken a trip to some famous artist's studio, and will be working through Christmas to sample that free snare drum he announced he would be giving to us in this Group Buy!

Now THAT's dedication! 8)

Sampling one of Ringo's drum kits at Abbey Road, no doubt!

I knew that bonus snare was going to be something extra special. :clown:

I'd be interested! But then again, any of the choices sound good to me!
Squids wrote:I will also reveal the mystery artist snare by this weekend. But, it will either be Steve Gadd, Stewart Copeland, Dennis Chambers or Dave Weckl's signature snares they've done with Yamaha, Tama, Pearl or Yamaha (respectively).
