In fact, I'd suggest writing Allen and telling him you signed up through paypal. His address is allen at esoundz dot com.

And I also followed this advice (to stop Murphy in his tracks) just in case...

Thanks Standalone! I hadn't gone all the way through before because of the error, so I just went back and continued on after the message came up...and it appeared to have worked! My PayPal account shows the transaction, but it's not showing up in my eSoundz account orders page yet. I guess that I am now officially in on the buy though!

I can't wait to get my hands on these kits and drive them with JamStix!

I paid with Paypal, ignore that message. Squids gave some explanation about this in a previous group buy but I forgot.

Ok - forged ahead; thanks Mr. standalone.
Makes sense now that I think about it... Paypal is an immediate debit and in a group buy that would be awkward at the beginning when the price is above the final one. Now that we are at the final price it also makes sense to use Paypal.
Should have thought a bit more about it before asking...

Is it normal not to see the order on my eSoundz account orders page right away though?

EDIT: Doh! I just spotted this on my account page...

"Note about Group Buy : if you just joined a group buy, your purchase will not display in this page until the Group Buy is over."

Sorry for the dumb question(s)...I've never done this before, but I'm sure that I will again!

The orders are processed manually, so they don't appear immediately in your account. Also remember that the customer's support is excellent and they will fix any possible problem without hesitation.

One more question, that I hope isn't too dumb. I own Kontakt v3.5 already, so can I skip the Infinite Player and get the Jazz Kit instead...or is the player required to drive the samples?

No, the Infinite Player comes included with every purchase and is needed to authorize the libraries. The optional plugin that you are refering to is Toontrack's EZ Player-Pro.

If you already own the Infinite Player you can get a brand new previously unreleased Drum Masters 2 Ludwig® Jazz Kit instead!

Ok now I guess Im confused a bit standalone....

If the Infinite Player must come included with every purchase and is needed to authorize the libraries, then why the choice above (from the 1st page)? Doesnt the Jazz kit need Infinite Player to authorize it as well? In other words, how could you opt for the jazz kit without it also including Infinate Player?

Please advise...
