Ok now I guess Im confused a bit standalone....

If the Infinite Player must come included with every purchase and is needed to authorize the libraries, then why the choice above (from the 1st page)? Doesnt the Jazz kit need Infinite Player to authorize it as well? In other words, how could you opt for the jazz kit without it also including Infinate Player?

Please advise...
Don't get confused! Standalone is mistaken. You need to have Infinite Player in order to use these libraries. But if you already have Infinite Player from a previous Group Buy or because you purchased it separately, then you can have the free Jazz drum kit instead. But you cannot choose to skip Infinite Player if you don't have it already or you will not be able to use the kits, EVEN IF YOU HAVE KONTAKT.

standalone rules.

That's my third Squid's Group Buy in a row, BTW :-]
Yes, we're going to make it a multiple choice option where you can pick either EZ Player Pro or a multitrack kit. If it reaches 400 we'll have even more valuable extras. You have almost 3 weeks to rack it up so go for it! GOOD LUCK!

well, I dont need EZ Player Pro and would rather have the Jazz Kit for JamStix to drive anyway.

Zedd thanks but it seems we all get Infinite Player anyway because without it we cant authorize the librarys...

Thanks agn Standalone for the info. Correct where needed... :)

Of course standalone rules... 8)

...but we are talking about 2 different freebies... I believe you get a free drum kit if you already have Infinite Player, AND you get an additional free drum kit if you already have EZ Player Pro.

But zedd is also right, if you already got the Infinite Player you also get an extra kit. There are two different ways to get that extra.

Oops, you were faster.

If you already have it installed, I don't think you need to install another copy in order to use these libraries. I could be wrong... or perhaps these scripts will necessitate a more recent version of Infinite Player to be installed, but generally, once you have installed IP, I don't believe you will have to install another copy every time you add to a new sample set to your IP library.

LOL

So many extras and not enough time....

Right, but I still think you get it for each kit order. I cant imagine them pulling this out while having to keep up with what everyone has already got...

Thats what I ment... :)

I just read the last couple of pages!  :o :D

If I may, let me clarify for new people reading this. Infinite Player is needed to authorize the drum kits in this group buy. Infinite Player is included in the group buy. For those of us who have previously bought Infinite Player, Squids will allow us to choose a brand new previously unreleased Drum Masters 2 Ludwig® Jazz Kit instead of IP (Infinite Player).

Also... you get Toontrack EZPlayer Pro as one of the extras. If you don't want Toontrack EZPlayer Pro, you get another drum kit (but I can't remember the details on that).

I hope I said that clear. If it doesn't, please clear up my clearing up.

How do you go about getting another kit if you dont want EZ plry pro? I already have it with Toontrack superior drummer 2, so I dont need it. Where was this stated?

The way I understand it, you automatically get EZPP AND the extra kit. What I'm not sure of is how you choose the Jazz kit instead of IP.

Finally jumped in to this GB; my referral went to lukianowicz.

BTW, is there any post or page that states the possible current choices or options I may take if I own EZ player pro?

btw, this is really a good deal, thanks to Dave and people at esoundz!

link for group buy using paypal

Might be covered in this huge thread but... why when I am all set to check out does it say: Use Paypal (won't work with group buy)

thanks
carl
Normally Paypal doesn't work for group buys but at the lowest price we can do it. It sounds like there's a confusing statement there that needs to be fixed. We'll have a look on Monday. But using Paypal does work with the group buy if you use this link: http://www.esoundz.com/details.php?Prod ... e=USDKVRPP

But- I did get that infamous "blank" email from them after the purchase..

Yeah, the blank email in normal :hihi:. Everything is ok.
Well, it's not supposed to be a blank email. I've forwarded this on to the web guys and it will be fixed on Monday or sooner. But, it DOES work just fine. Ignore the message about Paypal not working for the group buy. It does in this case. Sorry about the confusion.

The reason Paypal doesn't normally work with a group buy when the price is changing is that the paypal service doesn't allow you to hold something and pay later without knowing the amount. The amount has to be known and the payment has to be immediate. So once a group buy gets to the lowest price we often make a separate product in esoundz to accommodate those that want to use Paypal. The payment is instant since we know the final price.
