Are you talking about that 212 thing the Sunn head is resting on or about the combo in front of the 810 cab ?
Dunno about the 212, could be a cab or a top loaded combo, maybe by Selmer or something by Sunn, don't know yet.
Could it be a vintage Supro? I've been surprised that IK hasn't done any Supro or Hiwatt models.

BTW, I was using the Ampeg SVT Classic on guitar last night and once I jacked the gain and found the right (hot) input level, it sounded amazing on both my Tele and my Jazzmaster. What made me try it was someone saying Keith used them for the Get Yet Ya Ya's Out MSG show. Cool sound...
Hey Funkybot's Evil Twin - Im a big fan of SVX on guitar and recommend that anyone who has it, tries it out. It works well with a decent distortion pedal infront of it also IMHO although it might not be for everyone. Just make sure that the horn is not high and its good to go :tu:

What other secrets are you keeping?

Hold up on that one unit... I have to say it may just be the cabinet, I'll have to verify. To me that looks like just the cab to a certain amp so let me find out and I'll say for sure as soon as I can.

Funkybot,
in fact there's a Supro in AT2 ...
I'll check.
If Peter hadn't mentioned an "amp" I'd just have assumed a Sunn cab .

No prob. Oh, and it isn't a Sunn cab for sure. You guys already got that one.

OK, should be a Silvertone 212 cab then.

Kinda obvious, but obviously not easy ...
Thanks, Peter !

That GK combo is there again. What an odd beast to model (used to have one as a practice amp, man I'm old)

I still can't nail down the acoustic cab. Doesn't appear to be a 360/1 or a 301 or a b810. Maybe someone else already got it or the year of that model is somehow a little different.

hibidy,
here's a 301

and here's a 361 :

note the wider blue area (slightly higher cab ?), don't know if this differentiates 301 and 361 or if it's a matter of the year, there definitely are several versions of the cosmetics, lettering etc.

Those are the only folded horns (18") by Acoustic afaik.

Until somebody proves otherwise I still consider this one as nailed.

Look at it from a different angle - instead of a great practice amp (which it was) there's another type of bass that sounded FANTASTIC through it. Coupled with another amp in the pics that goes well with the same type of thing, you've got some continuity...

Ah, close!!! I was correct in my first "amp" wording technically... ;) That should make it obvious now. You did so well with that, I don't feel like I've over-revealed.

Hi Peter,
appreciate it ! 8) :)
let's see:
Technically these things were sold together under the romantic name of "1484" - is that what you mean ?
Going by internet resources only in this case, never saw a real one in 30 years + of playing guitar over here in Europe ...
I'll have to admit though if that isn't "it" I'm clueless atm.

What would be close to a Silvertone?

Is it a Gretsch? It looks a bit like the 6159?

Close would be naming just the cabinet (which does have a specific name, too, apparently but not being a stickler on that) but I was hinting that the amp is somewhere in there too and let's just consider that one nailed. Tough to identify what you don't actually see. Kudos on getting it, susiwong.

It's nice seeing IK model some of the more esoteric stuff. In a Brooklyn studio working with a friend's band, I once got a really cool, growling, fuzz-tone out of a Gibson stereo amp from the early 60s that I'd never heard of before and the engineer suggested we try. I think of the Silvertone as something in that vein.
