Last night I registered Rhino.
Now I want to start some preset-programming.
But the demo does not come with any docs
and on the Big Tick homepage I can only find
some tutorials. Is there a 'normal' helpfile,
telling me in plain text how exactly Rhino works?
:?

on tic's web site, under the 'files' section, there is a users guide.

http://bigtick.pastnotecut.org/index.p ... pcode=140

it will tell you what everything is and what it does (sort of); but not really how to use it to advantage. beware -- there is a lot of 'hidden' stuff; think of it as an easter egg hunt

thank you Pummel :D

   - there was a typo I quickly edited
- - I wrote 'thank you Pimmel' - it's a
german colloquial word meaning something like 'prick'/'dick' :-o

Also, feel free to ask here if you're puzzled by some of the Rhino features :-)

here are some quick tips, things you might not catch in the guide --

(1) look for 'hidden' drop menus; ie, right click on all text. every so often you will find a 'hidden' menu.

(2) try all the load buttons; there are many useful predefined envelops and such

(3) *all* numbers can be 'click-scrolled'; not just the ones in the mod matrix. also, the digit you click (ones, tens, hundreds) defines the scroll rate.

(4) 'chip' and 'audacity' (both freebies) can be used to 'draw' and capture a single cycle .wav file, for import into the wav shaping tool

Damn. Tell me if you find any, and I'll update the manual accordingly.
