Wellllll... unfortunately we didn't model the amp portion of that and we've had it for a while apparently. Not everything in that picture will make it in at this point. Also, the unidentified unit is not in a fully operational state so that one's out for now.

Fair enough. Just get that bad boy repaired and in a future release.Peter - IK Multimedia wrote:Wellllll... unfortunately we didn't model the amp portion of that and we've had it for a while apparently. Yeah, the one that needs repair is quite tricky, but can't get into the details. The Silvertone is supposed to be awesome and LOUD and I'd love to see that one done. There's a Silvertone cab in Hendrix though.

Wow, thanks, Peter !Peter - IK Multimedia wrote: Close would be naming just the cabinet (which does have a specific name, too, apparently but not being a stickler on that) but I was hinting that the amp is somewhere in there too and let's just consider that one nailed. Tough to identify what you don't actually see. Kudos on getting it, susiwong.
Now that's confirmed I'll try to find out the complete names of that combination, just out of curiosity.
And you know what - I might actually start looking for a real one next year, seems they are not that expensive and everybody raves about the sound.
It's all your fault, Peter, I'll send you the bill.
Cheers,
susiwong

I'll try, that would be the 1485 afaik.Peter - IK Multimedia wrote:Oh and get the 6-speaker version. LOUD and PROUD
Unfortunately those went up in price considerably since that Jack White guy played them.
Couldn't he use Line6 instead ?
Lol,

LOL, he could use AmpliTube since we keep our prices in line and blow them away quality-wise.

Anybody out there that uses most/all of this gear? I know that the guy who contributed to GrooveMaker Rock Ace uses a bunch of the same things we've got modeled or in these pics... http://www.guitargeek.com/rigview/336/
Just another path to ponder

Hmmm and Munky from Korn too.. .http://www.guitargeek.com/rigview/519/ Tons of the stuff we've modeled in that rig. Metal was top of our heap in many folks' eyes before Fender came along (well Hendrix was tops to me, but Metal rocks as much) so maybe that's being embraced? Dang, seems the listing on Wikipedia has a lot of past and likely future stuff we're into: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_Shaffer Time to get creative with this...

Now that's a twist where hopefully some hipper folks will reply - I'm not at all familiar with these younger players, tonewise I haven't heard much lately that didn't sound like an Ibanez or PRS exposed to rectal fire to me ...
Not putting them down as musicians, but signature tone related to an individual combination of gear ?
Of the older guys, Gilmour might partly qualify (what did he not use over the years ?
), but then some of his most typical stuff (Hiwatts, Yamaha Leslies, Alembic pres) are missing, so that's unlikely.
Many of the '60s / '70s heroes had signature rigs built around two or three pieces of equipment, instantly recognizable but not varied enough for an AT signature pack. Even ATJH was a bit of a stretch imho, at least ampwise.
Some of your best models yet however.
Could it be a Paco de Lucia signature amp and FX pack ?
I'm not aware of any missing piece of electric gear that guy ever was associated with.
Cheers,
susiwong

Well, it could also be something like more Hendrix and other classic rockers, since Jimi didn't do Mesa and tried Orange (thanks to Pink Floyd, from what I've read) but apparently didn't get the sound he wanted out of their stuff...
If we DID do the Silvertone we could have a Jack White/White Stripes/Raconteurs type of thing. There's the Big Muff Pi (he uses the USA from what I see), Whammy, and you can do your own kill switch with MIDI control or automation et al. We don't have the EH POG which is a VERY cool pedal but from what I hear it may be recreated with pitch shifter and harmonizer that are already there at least to some extent.
