Yes but go ahead and download Kontakt Player 4 for free from Native Instruments and try it out on your machine. I sometimes hear conflicting reports about 64 bit machines despite company's saying it is compatible. We're using THAT software as the foundation so it is up to NI to make it compatible with computers (not us - we just do the sounds and they are always compatible as long as the software we use is... "Infinite Player" is just the library within Kontakt Player 3.5 or 4 but it doesn't have any more or less compatibility than Kontakt itself).jsl wrote:I will By IF ?

Hey Squidz, if it helps I don't HAVE to have my sounds on the 31st (it's my birthday and I will be scamming people for cake!), so I'm willing to wait if it helps the process. Maybe some toher could do the same thing to ease the burden/servers/magical portals, whatever...

Screeeeeeeeeeee!!!! (phew!)
That's the sound of me sliding in down to the wire. I was determined not to join until I had managed to read the entire thread but JEEZ you people were adding new pages almost as fast as you were adding new sign-ups! By the time I'm done typing this you'll probably have added another two pages of posts and I'll be behind again...
TBH, I'm out of town for the holidays and it's been tough keeping up but I just can't end the year without being a part of yet another one of Squids' incredible Holiday GBs. It was a Holiday GB that first turned me on to Sonic Reality/eSoundz and it's becoming quite the tradition!
In any event, Season's Greetings to everyone here at KVR and at SR/eSoundz and I wish you all a Happy and Prosperous New Year!!

Well, my ex wife DID more or less walk out the door (we're friends though but she couldn't take it). Current girlfriend can take it. As for how I do the rest... yesterday I was ready to pop. Today is a new day and I feel refreshed. We're taking care of every detail and it's fun. Part of the reason my name is Squids is for multi-tasking.muddyjoe wrote:![]()

Congratulations everyone and thanks to the omni-present Squids and the Usual Spammers for making this happen.
Squids I often wonder if your day has 96 hours instead of 24 hours like the rest of us mortals. I mean how do you manage those mega posts on so many forums , do music, and manage a rather busy company and I even remember you mentioned a girlfriend. ( my wife is almost ready to walk out on me for the little that I do)

I was out for a while, and look what I return to! It's taken me 20 minutes to catch up on the thread! BTW, I had a great Texas BBQ beef sandwich!
514 now, I hope Squids is getting the bonus for 600 ready. We will crack 600!
As far as downloading, let me tell you something from experience. It's going to help you and your nerves if you can dial it back a little. For example, download one kit at a time, and stretch it out over a week or more. We are from all over the world, so there is not going to be a down time. Patience will be the key.
Also, we're going to need to stay around and help each other. There will be plenty that Allen will have to fix, but we can help each other get IP going and help with the installer. Those are not difficult.

Thanks guys. I want to handle this cleanly and not rush and overload the servers, skip a beat... there are a lot of totally custom things in this GB and as I mentioned the idea of bringing Drum Masters scripts into OWD DL kits DID seem too good to be true and it turned out to be harder but we were still able to do it! The results are totally worth it. I only hope I can convince the OW guys to update the rest of DL (and maybe the multichannel Silver, Gold etc. even though those already have some round robin and V-drum maps of their own) to make use of these new scripts. I think they'll go for it. But I have no control over that so can't promise anything there. We'll see. But at least we did it for the 13 OWD kits of this Group Buy! Maybe if you guys hit 600 we'll throw in one more OWD STm kit... 11 dry? Let's see. My favorite number is 4 and it being a total of 13... well, I am not superstitious but I DO prefer 14 as a number don't you?ebow wrote:me neithermaximilians1 wrote:You can put me on that list as well , I don't mind waiting a few days extra

I think it would help if we bumped our threads the more time. And remember, it doesn't have to be "your" thread. We're all in this together! Here is the list compiled by Chester Desmond:

Okay to keep things straight since the pages of this move along and I don't wish upon anyone to try to read through all of it to get the info you want the most, I have made a "Vital Information" thread (no relation to Steven Smith although the new Drum Masters Ste... just kidding). It's here: http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic ... 27#3915627
Please don't post questions and comments in there but please DO quote anything from this GB thread into there if you think it is vital information people should not miss. I was trying to find the post I made about the coupon codes. If anyone can find that, quote and post it in that thread it'd be appreciated. Soon we'll also have the DM2 stuff on pre-order and coupons will work for those as well (different coupon codes that I will reveal here and in that Vital Info thread).
We can also put some additional FAQ in there. DarkStar is a mod and some of you veterans who know what I'm talking about can post helpful things in there - well anyone can. But, I want to try to be helpful is all and I thought maybe that was a good idea. You agree?
