Congrats. Everyone in the group buy just got another Drum Masters 2 Multitrack kit normally worth $50.

The GB ends at midnight on the 30th. The main sound set will start to be available to 100 people at a time (not necessarily in the order joined but somewhat random picked from our system). This will be dispersed over the 31st and only longer if the server is overloaded. Patience please. This is big!

The extras will be delivered the following week on Monday or Tuesday although some extras will be in your user area before like the 150 Odd Grooves for example.

As for 600... if you can break it in a day and half there will be even MORE on top. Good luck. I will reveal what it will be if we get at least half way there.

That is the intention for the main sounds, so keep your fingers crossed.

It may be too many people on the server at once. So we'll either spread it out over a couple of days OR if people do that themselves then it should be ok. Either way it's not going anywhere. It'll be in your account but... it IS a LOT of stuff so please be UBER patient with this. Remember it is a lot faster and cheaper than shipping.

Yeah. Another dry (or moist) Ocean Way Drum kit would be marvelous. I've noticed that we don't have any of the representatives from OWD kit 3, 7 or 11 currently included in the Group Buy. So one of those kits would be dandy.

I really like the idea of being able to swap out drum and cymbal pieces from various kits. I don't know what your plans are, but I think that would be a cool way to add on to these kits in the future too. For instance, the Danny Gotlieb cymbal collection you've mentioned or a snare drum collection or a deep toms collection or roto toms (that would be great!) -- is that how you plan that how you've planned this to work? I think it would be a really great way for users to get just the samples they want in a kit -- really, just like the way we drummers put together our own kits (e.g., choosing the right snares and cymbals to get the combination we like).

Is it relatively simple for the average user to swap out/add in kit pieces from various kits on his/her own?

2. Will there be included info on how and where these were recorded (mics, rooms, preamps, eq)? It's helpful to have descriptions of the spaces like: large, small, ambient, dry, stone surface, wood floor, etc. etc.

These Impulse Responses may be considered an extra but they are a big reason why I joined this GB! I have LOTS and LOTS of kits including, many drum libraries from other companies. These convolutions (esp. for the dry kits) will prove VERY useful and I'm really looking forward to hearing them

3. Will these Impulse Responses be accessible outside of Kontakt (IP)?

Mp3s demos of each of the kits for easy auditioning of the default kit sounds.

Yes! This is a priority for me. I felt it was a missing piece in DM1 (last 2 group buys) along with the video demonstrations. Right now, I have to wait for everything to load in IP, run through several midi loops, tweak, rinse and repeat just to see if the sounds are going to work in context. No biggie but time consuming and a potential flow killer when you're writing music.

These forthcoming mp3 demos would cut A LOT of that time out by giving me instant access to the basic tones (in use) so I can review and check if they will fit the track before investing too much time. Invaluable! Thank you and please remember to create these in the midst of all of this manic mayhem!

Ok, I'm already asking for too much at the $99 price point (sorry) but hey! I'm a salesman too Dave As much as you like to see the big numbers on these GBs (well, we all do! ) I like to see the insane deals get as insane as possible (and then some) so it's a win/win all around
