after i went to great lengths to explain this deal to ya and guide you over here, it is you who might consider giving me YOUR redeem code
:) Yes, I am inclined to agree. For what it's worth, I tried to give you the referral when I enrolled but I used the name "el-bo", which my order is now saying does not exist...

Wow, thanks :)

I've never gotten epointz before, and did not even post my Esoundz name at the threads I've bumped, but just in case it is Helio.

Thanks again.

We're gonna need 13 people to join each hour for the next 5 hours if we are going to hit the next reward level.

It is not looking extremely likely that we will get the extra OWD kit, but...

I really do think that Squids picked 13 of the best OWD kits available... so we are getting the cream of the crop anyways, and we can live without another bonus kit.

My only wish was that all the Ocean Way DL kits had this new scripting and didn't require an additional player to use them. I would gladly spend some of my ePointz and even some PayPal dollars to buy a few more of the OWD kits to use interchangeably with these GB kits. But that is not a reality for now.

It would be good, Squids, if you could one day talk the OWD guys into having all of their DL kits available in IP format and with your new scripting.

Go to the GB sign up page. There are audio demos for those multitrack kits at the top of the listening list: http://www.esoundz.com/details.php?Prod ... ode=USDKVR
ok...gotcha....thanks

the 3 gretsch kits sound different.....

here's a question......i really like the gretsch kit except for the snare (too much ring)...if i were to chose the multitrack version (highly likely) would i be able to swap out that snare for any of the others and it still be able to be used in multitrack mode ??
yeah the snare rings too much for me too, I was thinking of tuning it down and using less top mic and more bottom , but i dont' know how well that would work
oh and maybe a low pass filter ?
Parametric eq, find the fundamental ring and notch it out.

That ring is a desirable musical sound. I mean if you like that snare but just want less ring then sure there are ways to experiment with EQ or other things but sometimes just another snare is the answer.

I happen to LOVE LOVE LOVE that snare as it is. But I would only use it in certain cases. But that's the whole point of having a huge collection to swap kit pieces with.
