How do you get el-bo out of ebow? I'm looking down at my keyboard...

Is it because he keeps elbowing us with that PayPal option!?! ;-)
Somewhere in the background zedd

My only wish was that all the Ocean Way DL kits had this new scripting and didn't require an additional player to use them. I would gladly spend some of my ePointz and even some PayPal dollars to buy a few more of the OWD kits to use interchangeably with these GB kits. But that is not a reality for now.
You never know. Maybe something can be done with the downloadable DL kits at least.

and actually they are both variants on my nickname - elbow (or just 'bo', sometimes)...el-bo is my , currently living in spain, incarnation

The trilogy is a three band EQ.

Nobody's a nobody...

I want to thank Tony for using me as his referral name - thanks for the epoitz.

The wait is killing me - that whole impatience thing.

Yeah, I like a bit of ring in snares, the other thing to remember is that listening to the kit bare is often quite different once it has other instruments around it. But the parametric option is what I use when I don't have another snare to swap out on a real kit
HD-FLH, spangled leather poncho, elevator shoes. Who is YOUR goucho amigo?

well if frodo or gandalf should turn up asking for it, tell 'em squiddie taped it to the underside of the grestch snare drum....apparently he found it at the bottom of yngwie malmsteen's garden pond and thought it would add to the signature tone of the snare he was gonna be sampling....

be careful though...squid's become a little attatched to it...it's become quite precious to him :D

OK, a bit of a "my face is red" here. I missed the Tolkien ref until I read further down the thread, jeez, time to step away from the computer.

Well, I now posted at a couple of Harmony Central forums. :)

Great point. Take Bruford for example. That's ring-city. But it cuts through on an album like Yes Fragile for example where you have a lot of sonic competition going on between the players.... although I also love how (howe) they use acoustic guitar and electric bass for Roundabout. I always thought that sounded great in the first verse and you can REALLY year the drums.

HC is owned by Musicians Friend. A wonderful store (and SR dealer) but they don't allow threads about group buys with other e-commerce stores (and esoundz is). That thread is going to disappear faster than Kaiser Sl... how do you spell that name from The Usual Suspects? And just like THAT he was gone.

But it was a noble effort! Worthy of recognition in the Group Buy archives.
