Wow! That was really down to the wire. Undoubtedly this was an amazing deal and there was no stopping Squids adding on stuff in order to make it even more compelling. But even so, 600 buyers/users is a pretty huge group buy. Very impressive. That's a pretty significant user base / community of people who will be using these sample libraries.D.Wako wrote:600 ....
I hope everyone sticks around in the SR forums over time and shares presets, tips, etc. like Squids was mentioning earlier, it definitely will make this even better.

Congrats on another great Esoundz Group Buy!!
I was happy when it hit 201 with the original offer -- this tripled that goal. All the extras is an insane value.
I'm ready to do some finger drummin'.

Yes, we now have a really good foundation of Infinite Player users. What that means is that you can add over time the vast range of Sonic Reality's "Sample Everything" archives. We're bringing over all of our best sounds that have been released in other formats like Squids Tron Collection and all of the orchestral stuff we've ever done, vintage keyboards, guitars, vocals... not just drums. But when it comes to drums there will be STm kits and kit pieces you can add for the things you always wanted to have like signature snares from famous drummers or rare cymbals or just a variety of samples to choose from because as I was saying earlier the level of production for being able to just swap out a snare or a hi hat or a kick is so great! EQ it or find the right snare in the first place. Something that would be very tedious and expensive to do in a real live session (although I know drummers that cart all of that around to do it) is just so easy with this.
Anyway, more about the Infinite Player range of sounds from Sonic Reality later. Right now it's all about this Ultimate Studio Drums Bundle and it's past midnight! The GB is officially over. 601 people actually. GREAT JOB to everyone and you earned those 2 extra STm kits (JB Tama and the Chicago Gretsch kit from Drum Masters Signature). That's going to be integrated right into phase 2. If you want to read how we're dividing the content for delivery into three phases you can here: http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic ... 86#3917086
Downloads will start being available before noon tomorrow. We tried to do it this evening but have to resume in the morning as it is a lot of work and everyone is about ready to drop. This was amazing but it was 10 times harder to do over the holidays. But it's so worth it and we're really grateful to all of you for making this a huge success and enjoyable. I think this was one of the best Group Buys we've had. What do you think? It was really fun. Some laughs, stories, philosophy, drama, suspense down to the last minute (like a 3 point shot from center court). Now the fun begins... massive patience for massive amounts of downloading. Bear with us! We will make sure everyone gets all of the stuff they purchased as soon as possible.
Thank you again from everyone at eSoundz. We appreciate your participation, positive vibes and enthusiasm! That's what made this one so big.

Yes. It just won't count as a number in the group anymore. So it won't affect any more extras but we'll make it available for 2 more weeks at this price with all of the extras just for that reason. In that time we're still going to be doing new demos for the DM2 stuff in this because they are part of the Signature Series and we need to do demos anyway. Also videos are a new thing we're going to be doing per product as a standard thing.tdm71 wrote:I read on a another forum where this deal will still be around for another 2 weeks or so for those wanting to hear more or see more videos?? Damn. After spending a whole month rallying to get people to join this group buy, I just realized that with 600+ participants there are more than SIX HUNDRED PEOPLE out there who are going to have the same drum kits that I have. That sucks man! I want my drums to sound unique and interesting, and now everybody and their dog has these kits.eDrummist wrote:But even so, 600 buyers/users is a pretty huge group buy. I wonder if there is a way to create hybrid kits so that my kits can sound different from everybody elses?
Congratulations everybody. We went really far with this one!

You do know that this has created a large number of group buy junkies that are going to need some serious counseling when they start to "come down" from this high??Squids wrote:

Hopefully some of the buyers can keep the energy and positiveness of this going and become a group that are producing great things with these sounds. Who knows, the people involved in this very thread/gb might just become known for it's creativity and inspiration? Of course this could be just the NY cheer starting to alter my brain waves slightly too haha
PS It looks like I have been generously handed some epointz so big thanks to the kind soul that did so!
Cheers and a Happy and massively creative 2010 to the esoundz crew and the members of this group buy!!!

Pardon me for being a little slow, I can't seem to figure out the track layouts on this. I remember reading that you can adjust the kick and snare level, but can you send everything to separate outputs? And how many everythings are there? I thought there was something about rooms and oh's not being separate.
thanks
