Well... as I think about it... I am very easily old enough to be a grandfather, except that I haven't any children...
I'm also old enough to get cranky. Perhaps now that the Group Buy is actually over, you could tone down the size of the letters in your posts, ebow? Holy crap. A couple of weeks ago you were really shy and hesitant to join the "spammers". Now you're hitting us every page with giant billboard letters.
How times change.
Did I mention that I'm old enough to get cranky?

Cranky, huh? Maybe some holiday cheer would be in order. The liquid kind.zedd wrote:Well... as I think about it... I am very easily old enough to be a grandfather, except that I haven't any children...

Okay... even the little trial I keep trying to do (which took me a few hours) is complicated and I might as well bag that idea for now... argh. Oh well. Go party or something anyway!
The email is finally being sent out. It's obviously hard to get everyone to work on the holiday and I am not The Squinch that stole New Year's (never heard that story? It was unreleased).
So, the email says phase 1 will be some time this weekend. We're going to try to get it all together for everyone tomorrow but it may take longer. Part of it depends on availability of the people needed during the holiday/weekend and part of it depends on it all being smooth and clear as much as possible. I will let you know. Thanks for being understand though. That does make it a lot better. I fully admit that ending this during New Years was one of the worst ideas ever! lol. But, obviously the group buy itself was a wonderful idea and the best esoundz Group Buy we've had. It is the beginning of some very interesting and fun exploration for drum samples and we're happy to be a part of that with you.
I am going to calm my nerves for a bit. Perhaps have a drink. I need one.
Happy New Year!

No problem Squidly. I appreciate knowing that you were trying to do it for us. I know your intentions were good, and thank you for the effort.Squids wrote:Okay... even the little trial I keep trying to do (which took me a few hours) is complicated and I might as well bag that idea for now... argh. Time to just relax and enjoy the festivities. Even Monday is soon enough for phase 1, as far as I am concerned.
Yeah... shaking my cane at that kid who keeps playing his music too loud next door. But I also like that kid, so I am not really feeling all that cranky... just shaking my cane out of some sense of obligation.Reverend Rhythm wrote:Cranky, huh? Does anyone have a link to preview the Jazz STm kit, the Ludwig Jazz Kit option?

I'm not sure there are any audio demos yet because I don't think this kit has been officially released.2busdriver wrote:Does anyone have a link to preview the Jazz STm kit, the Ludwig Jazz Kit option?
Squids wrote:The Jazz kit is part of the new DM2. Never before released. Nice kit to have. Nothing fancy but a good organic jazz sound.

Just got an email...
Thank you for participating in the Ultimate Studio Drums Group Buy! The turn out was massive with over 600 people joining in less than a month. Many extra sounds and bonuses were earned from the additional people joining beyond the expected 200. We are working hard through the holiday in order to start delivering the many downloadable items to so many people around the world. We have run into a few minor delays and hope to have the first phase of downloads ready this New Year's Eve or by New Year's Day tomorrow.

More like tomorrow or Saturday. There's only so much I could get the team to do on New Year's Eve. We've never had a GB with over 600 people before so we have to handle this very carefully. Doing our best!spikey wrote:Just got an email...

We may make a custom DVD option for people who prefer that to downloading. It costs a little bit more plus shipping but might be a good option for those that don't want to download. Also a preinstalled on hard drive option some time next week. More on that later. A had a few glasses of wine and I feel fine.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
