hi. both work, but attempting to open each respective gui causes both hosts to crash immediately. neither will instantiate in cantabile but in bidule they both load and function...just you can't tweak anything.
what info do you need from me?
thanks.

If you're using Cantabile I assume you're on some flavour of Windows - so, Windows version, and graphics hardware details would be a good start.

xp sp3, no idea about the graphics hardware...sorry, not particularly computer savvy (although i'm trying). i guess whatever comes with xp or the intel board. i don't even know if that's a wrong enough answer to sound stupid. fwiw, i have no problems with any other expert sleeper software.

Which other plug-ins have you tried, successfully? I'm surprised if some work and some don't.
A couple of other people have reported crashes on Windows when opening the GUIs, but I've never managed to get the right information out of them in order to fix the problem. See here:

Please follow those instructions and send me the files. NB the download link is nowHere's something else that would be very helpful: download GLEW from
http://glew.sourceforge.net/
There are Windows binaries linked from the front page:
https://sourceforge.net/project/downloading.php?gr oup_id=67586&filename=glew-1.5.1-win32.zip
If you unzip that and look in the glew\bin folder, you'll see two apps, "visualinfo.exe" and "glewinfo.exe". If you run those, they'll each generate a text file. If you could send me those text files (or post the contents here), that would probably enable me to see what the problem is.

For the benefit of any watchers - the Minky Starshine problem is also fixed, in version 1.0.10.
