It should be listed in section SERIALS
Thanks! That section is, however, empty here (nothing is hidden). Well, I will patiently wait...

Seems I am not the only person who didn't receive IP yet. Good to know, so at least I don't need to worry

Just to let everyone know:

I've had problems installing the infinite player on OS X 10.6.

For some reason it did not unzip properly on my machine. I unzipped on a PC and copied the folder across to the mac and everything installed OK.

I don't have 10.6, but use Springy, BetterZip, The Unarchiver, and Stuffit, along with OS X's own compression utilities.

For some reason expanding files does not always work as expected. At least one of these applications usually gets the job done.

I'm one of the idiots who has read every post of this thread... I don't tink I remember it all, but I read them. I said this because I wanted to run some things by you and see if I understood correctly.

Is this correct:

1. Two OWD kits are available for everyone.

2. The IP redeem codes are available for some, but not everyone.

3. The serial numbers to register IP on NI website are still missing.

4. Squids will check in sometime in the afternoon (US east coast time).

5. We need to plan on Tuesday morning (US east coast time) before all of phase is up and running.

6. The people who have the available OWD kits up and running are impressed.

Did I get this correct?

My new motto is "Patience Padawan."

Squids wrote: If you're reading this and put off by the trickling in effect of stuff then I suggest just kicking back and making some music or doing something you enjoy... then check back Tuesday when the dust has settled a bit. But since there are tons of downloads involved anyway I can see a lot of you want to get crackin' so we're going to keep going tomorrow as well.

A couple things of note. You can turn EACH alt hit per articulation on or off in the round robin. This coming week a THOROUGH explanation in real time as the DM2 manual hasn't been completed yet. You are getting the very first released product of those features and will have even BETTER than a poorly written manual. You'll have interactive Q and A with the company. That said, I don't think it is too hard to figure out if you're savvy. I've heard from a few people who are loving it. Although I may have to check something on kit 1 or 2 with the alts. I will let you all know.

Thanks again for your friendliness and patience with us.
I'm just going to wait until next weekend to download because by then all the bugs will be worked out and I suffer enough anyway :D so like those who blow their horn in bumper to bumper traffic (a New York thing)in a rush to go nowhere :P I'll watch the anxious downloaders and in the meantime read all the humorus stories and about the bugs and work arounds so everything will go perfect. At the end, we all will arrive at the same time much like the hare and the tortoise.....Patience my son, patience! It will all come to you :D

I say YES to 1, 2 and 3.
Don't know about the others.

This thread is just an insane mass of inspiring information, isn't it? :D

yarimurray wrote: Fast connection? Not even close. I'm in deepest rural Alaska with barely better than a dial up connection (when it's working at all). Only 7 hours and 45 minutes left to download the first kit (already been at it for over an hour - and sometimes the time meter seems to go backwords!). At this rate I should have all of this GB stuff downloaded just in time for the next year-end GB! :-o :hihi:

I just wanted to download the IP and Kontakt before I started downloading the kits. I'm an orderly guy like that. But I've bitten the bullet and started downloading the first kit. That way, in a couple of weeks (at this rate) when I've finished downloading the 1.17GB player, etc. at least I'll have something to play!

If it's that slow and long, I'm sure you can email Allen and for a small fee make a DVD for you and mail it to you. Give it a shot :D After I download all the zip files I make a backup copy of the zip files on DVD. In case my hard drive crashes I don't have to downloaded them again from my files at Esoundz. It's fast and easy. For all intents and purposes the zip file never gets extracted and remains intact.

The Infinite Player is an ingenious thing. When you think about it the zip file always remains intact so it's simple and fast to move around all the files residing within the large zip file.

freddemillio wrote:I think that I have a problem similar to what Mattiiiii, dimitar, Qdraw, ... described.

I have been able to download the 4 files ( infiniteplayerkontakt, ipowdstkit01dry, ipowdstkit02med & oddgroovesbonus ). I have been able to install everything (and I already own full K3.5 ) but when I go to activate the Infinite Player with the NI service center, it asks for a serial number and it won't accept the serial number that I used to download from downloadablesoundz. I don't see any other serial number anywhere. I can access the piano and the drums but only in demo mode.

Oh well ... It seems that we still need another bit of information. Hopefully that will come later today. In the meantime, I'll open a ticket on downloadablesoundz.
Go to your Esounz account and click My Downloads.... go to where it says: Here are your product serials: then look for Sonic Reality - Studio ProFiles Infinite Player your serial number is there.

Rev,

I don't have anything at all in my eSoundz account yet, although I can see the Quick Start Guide.
