The deal was that the goodies will be delivered in our account at eSoundz on Dec. 30th or earlier.

Is there a priority given to early participants of the GB? I can understand that. But please let us know. (sorry if that has been covered before but 165 pages is far too many to follow - no much time to read every page)

I jumped in at the last moment on 30/12 but it is already 5 days now and other than the paypal receipt with the completed transaction, I haven't received any redeem code or any thing to download.

Squids was kind enough to give us a plan of action but so far nothing has started here (at least for me).

For those of you who are waiting, let me say that I already have OWD Silver and DM1 gold, so I already know how some of these kits sound. I think you are going to love them. So I am really excited about the possibilities here

Don't worry. They will sort you. esoundz and Sonic Reality are normally a 10 - 6 (east coast us time) operation. Squids, on the other hand, is 24/7! But the staff work semi-normal hours... with exceptions. Tomorrow will be a work day, so they will begin to sort out problems.

If you're reading this and put off by the trickling in effect of stuff then I suggest just kicking back and making some music or doing something you enjoy... then check back Tuesday when the dust has settled a bit.

Good plan I have seen enough activity on my account (the two Ocean Way kits amd MIDI) to know I am part of the group buy which was my only immediate concern and understand the logistics, manpower, and timing worked out to be quite unrealistic for a holiday and the number of participants.

Quite happy to wait it out and still very happy with getting in, thinking it was one HELL OF A BUY! The ensuing 'trickle' time for transfer of complete product is just the decanting of a fine wine in my view, thanks again for a wonderful deal

No, but you will need Infinite Player installed and authorized, to unlock the Drum Kits

Which reminds me. Someone asked earlier and I'm not clear on this but are we able to install these kits and the IP on more than one computer? (Of course only using one at a time.) I don't believe all of this content would even fit on my laptop and I'd like to be able to use these kits on the go or in my studio (when I get back there).

I cannot recall the Licence conditions for SR's sounds, but the Infinite Player Authorisation (and hence the Drum Kits) will be constrained by NI's licence policy.

Native Instruments grants the Licensee, the non-exclusive right to use the Licensed software and hardware on one single computer only (i.e. one CPU) at one single place. If this single computer is connected to a multi-user system, this License shall apply to all users of the system.

The Licensee may personally use the licensed software or hardware temporarily on another computer, on condition that the said software and hardware is normally used regularly on one particular computer. Use above and beyond these limits is not permissible.

Does anyone know if there is a serial number to register Infinite player in the NI service centre or is that sent out separately, or not required at this stage?

Well, you can run in Demo mode without it. It will be available after you have used your Redeem Code (when you get that in your eSoundz Downloads area) and chosen IP.

I think that I have a problem similar to what Mattiiiii, dimitar, Qdraw, ... described.

I have been able to download the 4 files ( infiniteplayerkontakt, ipowdstkit01dry, ipowdstkit02med & oddgroovesbonus ). I have been able to install everything (and I already own full K3.5 ) but when I go to activate the Infinite Player with the NI service center, it asks for a serial number and it won't accept the serial number that I used to download from downloadablesoundz. I don't see any other serial number anywhere. I can access the piano and the drums but only in demo mode.

Oh well ... It seems that we still need another bit of information. Hopefully that will come later today. In the meantime, I'll open a ticket on downloadablesoundz.

The Serial number you used at DownloadableSoundz was your Redeem Code, wasn't it? Now that you have selected Infinite Player you will need an IP Serial Number - I guess that this will turn up later after eSoundz has manually allocated it to you. Have a look in your DownloadableSoundz >> User Area >> My Downloads >> Product Serials. That's where mine was (for the original IP Group Buy, not this one).

Infinite Player is a version of Kontakt Player, so I would not think so.

Oh, is that what you were asking? You can only play these drums with Kontakt or Kontakt player. But even if you have the full Kontakt 3 or 4, you will still need to install IP. IP unlocks the drum samples.

Infinite Player is a version of Kontakt Player, so I would not think so.

IP is just a code to let Kontakt play the eSoundz/downloadablesoundz content. It doesn't differ in any way from Kontakt Player...

Actually I use all my SR/eSoundz stuff in Kontakt 3.5.
