MaxBwide
sonic enhancing mastering VST plug-in for Windows.

Max B.Wide is using a sophisticated filter network to give a similar experience to a psychoacoustic model, without using any kind of psychoacoustic algorithm.

MaxBwide features

I tryed it on 2-3 songs.

The bass boost does what its supposed to do, made me curious if it worked nice till low-mid if it had the option?

I loved the shaping feature, if you guys every decide to sell it separate let me know

Didn't like wideness, though I have to say I never liked any plug-in that makes a track wider.

It is true, that there are no controls visible for the low/mid range.
But the filter network is taking care of this range also,
depending on the low frequency that you dial-in,
MaxBwide will also adjust the low/mid range.

We are glad to hear that you love the shaping feature!
You can always turn off all other functions and only use the shaping.

To make a separate product out of the shaping function never came to mind,
But if there is enough interest for it, it would not be a problem to do.

Yes, full frequency range from 20-20.000hz
Also works at any sampling rate.
MaxBwide is latency free and
works without problem on multi core systems.

You should consider to make the wide knob work with a range above 100Hz so there's no problems with the bass. I tested the plugin, not bad (shaping feature was nice) but not my cup of tea.

Should just work fine on Windows 64-bit systems.
But everything will be calculated in 32-bit.

I'm not sure I understand what that means. Are you saying that the code is x86 and it 'should' run via a 32-to-64bit bridge? Or is it x64 native but processes 32bit audio internally? I'm talking about code not audio bit depth.

MaxBwide is a 32-bit plug-in
but it will run without problem in Windows 64.
DSP calculations are done in 32-bit.

Do you have a roadmap/timeline for an x64 native one? All 32bit plugs have to be bridged into a different process, which isn't optimal. I've gone x64 native with few exceptions and have decided not to buy any *new* plugs that aren't x64. Right now the only 32bit plugs I sill use are the T-Racks singles and that's only because I bought them before my changeover to x64.
