I have been able to download the 4 files ( infiniteplayerkontakt, ipowdstkit01dry, ipowdstkit02med & oddgroovesbonus ). I have been able to install everything (and I already own full K3.5 ) but when I go to activate the Infinite Player with the NI service center, it asks for a serial number and it won't accept the serial number that I used to download from downloadablesoundz. I don't see any other serial number anywhere. I can access the piano and the drums but only in demo mode.

Oh well ... It seems that we still need another bit of information. Hopefully that will come later today. In the meantime, I'll open a ticket on downloadablesoundz.
I believe there are a number of us asking about this. Could we please get a comment on this? Thank you.

NOTE: Both of these - the serial or the Jazz kit - will be put into your DownloadableSoundz.com user's area instead of esoundz.

If you clicked on the redeem code in the last hour or so and got an error it may be because files are being swapped out on the back end. I'd wait until I say it's all clear which will be in an hour or so I would imagine.
Hi there,

does that mean

a) the IP file includes KP 3.5
OR
b) the KP3.5 file includes both versions, MAC and PC

If a) then there might be an error with these downloads in esoundz account download area:

Ultimate Drums Group Buy Specials:

Download the PC version of Kontakt Player 3.5 here.
Download the MAC version of Kontakt Player 3.5 here.

Both "here" links are refering to the same archive (for PC) ==> SOLVED see EDIT. Will probably be corrected soon anyway.

EDIT:
PointOfDeparture wrote:Just tried this out: change kp35pc.zip to kp35mac.zip and you should be able to get the correct version.

BTW: Should I receive a confirmation mail, if I'd submitted a support ticket at downloadablesoundz?

Cheers

So i got my redeem code and am downloading ifiniteplayer now, filesize is 556 MB according to my Browser's download window. I already downloaded the two kits and the Midi files last night so maybe later tonight I can hit those kits for a tryout.

Let us know if you can get it out of demo mode. Let us know if you are missing the Infinite Player serial number required by Native Instruments Service Center. Thank you.

Once you have selected Infinite Player you will need the IP Serial Number - I guess that this will turn up later after eSoundz has manually allocated it to you (maybe not until tomorrow at the earliest?). Have a look in your DownloadableSoundz >> User Area >> My Downloads >> Product Serials. That's where mine was (for the original IP Group Buy, not this one).

Wow, I can't believe I've read every post on this thread. I am not well.

Anyway, I gotta recommend that people use download managers (such as downthemall for Firefox) as they ensure consistent downloads and can really speed them up as well.

I'm gonna wait til everything is totally ready before I dl, or maybe I can just swing by and pick it up, Squiddy? :)

Btw, Lord Squiddington, I would think if anybody has tacos pastor it would be the Mexican place on SW 8 st. and I think 5th Ave. Definitely authentic, well at least when I went quite a while ago. Worth a shot!

No, there is no serial yet. After using the redeem code for the IP it now has vanished from my download area (as supposed to). I guess the serial will come sometime, but I can run the kits in Kontakt 4 in demo mode for checking.

The serial number (redeem code) that you use to go to DownloadableSoundz is not the same serial code for the Infinite Player that gets registered with NI through Service Center.

But, after you have redeemed the code on DownloadableSoundz you should receive the Infinite Player serial to activate it through Service Center in your DownloadableSoundz download area.

We've done this in past group buys and it was easier. In this one there are a lot more than usual and a wider range of people familiar vs. unfamiliar with the various places on the web sites things might be etc. So, in order to make that universally better for everyone we will describe every detail of where things should be. Then if they're not there you simply contact Support so they can make sure it is there or point you in the right direction.

We will have the custom DVD option plus shipping this coming week. No need to email Allen about that. He won't be just doing it one on one. It will be an extra product you can order when it is ready in the next couple of days if you'd like. Also the pre-installed on HD will be an option as well. Might be worth it for some people that want to just GO and not have to "assemble" the components.
