The original PatchArena (when Alex ran it) went down and it was forever before it came back up again. My guess would be the new one never got critical mass.

What happened about the sound design competition is it dead?
It's a shame so few people post there.

i'd go back if the comp were there. it's give me an excuse to tweak. i'm normally a preset ho

edit: i just looked at the last comp in nov. everyone picked whatever vst they wanted?

The comp was genuine Camel donated the prize.
But it all seems to have come to nothing.

Until I found this thread, I had no idea what I had been missing--what an amazing resource! It's Father's Day tomorrow, so I can be forgiven for disappearing into the studio to play with a lot of new patches.
