Velocity curve refinment

Is there a way to set up a different velocity curve for black and white keys of a keyboard?

Many budget midi keyboards do not have a too great velocity response and even worse some react stronger on the black keys than the white ones...

There is a midi software called "Home concert extreme" designed for learning jamming and free performing purposes that has an option to visually show velocity for each individual key you play via a bar graph... and I could confirm the quoted effects by seeing it - instead of just having the feel that there is something wrong with some boards...

Hi TIUser,
In case you still need a solution to this, have you tried PizMidi's midiBlackKeyFilter? You could combine it with ndc's Midi Velocity Amp, or perhaps PizMidi's midiCurve. A bit roundabout, but it might be useful.

Thanks for mentioning this - quite cool stuff.

Still I'd prefer to have the Cantabile filter extended... the curves here are very flexible and easy to use and I think it's better to not fix everything with a chain of helper plugins...
