Does anyone have the correct link for the free OWD 10 Medium for infinite player. I can see the one for the OWD Expandable player on the freesoundz page...does that work with infinite player or do we have to wait for it to appear in our downloads area like the others?
There's no rush, I'm just wondering though

It will appear in your Downloads area, I understand. That one on the Freesoundz page is for OWD Expandable, not IP.johnno wrote:Does anyone have the correct link for the free OWD 10 Medium for infinite player. Maybe i've done something stupid.. i'm new to Kontact and the infinite player.. I have re-downloaded kit one and re-installed etc.. everything is ok with kit 2..
I'm on OSX 10.5.8. and using logic 9..
any help or suggestion would be appreciated thanks...

Yes i've seen drumzgal's videos on youtube and the only way she could make OWD work was to change her TD12 settings to VH12. Thanks to that i had to sell my TD9 sound module and buy a TD12 to work with my new VH11...Reverend Rhythm wrote:pcaseiro wrote:This is hard to answer. I like them. As far as performance, Imap gives you some options, like closed HH on f and f#.
But because there's new patches applied i am curious about it. At the end of the week i'll download everything and test it out

Alright then! What a relief to be back in the office, fast internet and some insanity restored.
Regarding the rest of phase 1: We're cranking on it at normal full throttle speed and should have that all ready for download by the end of the day. Thank you for your patience. No worries about any of the issues that popped up over the weekend, they're all solved and they'll work like a charm.
Regarding the missing library image mystery... SOLVED! The last info.nkx we got from NI was not complete hence the main library image and some of the old GUIs were not showing (thanks Bruce for your help, this should solve the thing we were talking about as well).
So... out with the old in with the new.
Do this everybody. Take OUT the following from your Infinite Player folder:
Info folder (That has one TGA in it, you don't need that anymore as I had NI put that little icon into the latest info.nkx)
also take out the:
Studio ProFiles Infinite Player_info.nkx
AND
Studio ProFiles Infinite Player_info.nkc
Then go ahead and grab this:
http://www.sonicreality.com/squidscorne ... fo_nkx.zip
The size of it zipped is 35.9 megs. When downloaded and unzipped it should be about 186megs or more (the other was 160 megs after unzip so it was missing some data... apparently an NKX file can still partially work which is an extra PITA but that just means you have to be sure you downloaded the whole thing).
We're going to update the SR download page (sorry it is the download section and not support anymore... used to be all in the support page) with the new skins and for anybody that HASN'T downloaded anything yet NO WORRIES! You don't have to do anything as the new replaced graphics info.nkx folder will just show up in the kit downloads today.
Again, sorry about that mishap. Murphy's Law. Shiz Happens. Squids Happens. All of those... If someone can post this into the Vital Info thread that would help. I am going to get back to all this mopping up of Squids ink... Thanks .

If we've had IP installed PRIOR to this group buy, do we still have to do this?
Also, aside from the GUI, the first two kits seem to be fine. If we don't do this will subsequent downloads have the right GUI anyway?
Thanks

OK, but now I've lost the library background bitmaps.
It just reads "Studio Pro Files Inifinite Player", followed by a grey area.

I've been using Tiger Balm forever. For stress, apply just a little on the temple area (careful), it works great!Ah Xoc Kin wrote:Check out http://www.petershane.com/products.htmlSquids wrote:
Oh man I just put some Tiger Balm on my neck and it's kicking in. This is my latest thing. All of a sudden I've been getting into muscle relaxers. Cool effect.
My Sensei recommended it, and it was wonderful. I recently gave it to a friend who had a sore shoulder, and told her to use just a little bit. She decided to use quite a bit BEFORE her yoga class. She called me after her class and told me it looked as though she had burned herself severely. The next day there was no sign of her "burn," but this is strong stuff. I never use it before exercising, and a little goes a long way. I thought $10 was a bit expensive, but it has worked great the few times I've needed it.

Also, only those that tried to solve the skins issue with the provisional files that were posted a while ago got that Info folder, if I'm correct.

Here is hopefully my last apology post about the mishaps over the weekend and the delay. I think it is going to get boring and repetitive if I keep apologizing to each person so at a certain point they'll just have to understand and accept that we're doing our best and despite there being some minor delays it is a killer deal and this is the (exclusive) only way to have gotten it AND it will all be worth it in the end. We're not talking about waiting THAT long compared to ordering a product of this size and having it shipped like one usually would so... some perspective is also important here. If you don't know we care and are doing our best then ask around and get a consensus from others. It is hopefully obvious that we do.
Here is a copy/paste of the post I did on another forum regarding the delay:
Just so it is clear to everyone, the incorporating of OWD into the Infinite Player and the use of the Drum Masters 2 scripts (brand spanking new) integrated into just THESE OWD kits (in a temporary product) is a ONE time thing custom made just for this group buy. Very hard to do. It couldn't be more new and proprietary than this. At first it seemed easy to do but as we got closer it proved to be more complicated than we initially thought - hence the delay. It's like if someone was handcrafting a guitar and it wasn't ready yet on the date the guy said. But you want that special limited edition guitar so you cut him some slack and you pick it up the next week.
Again, it's not like this is an off the shelf product. That would be easy. But this has a lot of things people wanted special and we've done it! Took a lot of man power and a fast T1 for uploading to do it but we will deliver the product(s) phases just fine from here on in.
It was difficult to make this particular bundle and there was a fluke from a file NI sent us at the same time. Murphy's Law I guess. But the Infinite Player is not new. It's our baby and the main format for Sonic Reality instrument samples. It's solid and works great. A few added components to work around some NI things (we have to wait for a new integrated installer with KP4 until next month). But it is not that big a deal to download ANY of the KP3.5 or KP4 or full Kontakt installers (the third an option to buy if you wanted, the others free) and use that with your Infinite Player. More steps than installing other drum software but there are some advantages such as the ability to also load other types of instruments etc.
Anyway, we're bold. Sometimes that works and sometimes it backfires but we just plow through it and get it done. That's the best anyone can do. The goal here was to bundle a LOT of stuff and make one fantastic collection for a ridiculously low price. I don't think too many people will deny it is just that. But, this week when all of the material is delivered is the best time to judge. Up until now it was all just us trying to put a square peg in a round hole. Too many handicaps to be able to do it the way we would have liked. That is already in the past. Now on to the fun part... the kits. I will let you know when they're in everyone's download area and we'll put together some step by steps as well.
Thanks for everyone's understanding and patience.

Just tried the fix: removed "info" folder and both the nkc and nkx files, put the new nkx file in the folder and tadaa! The nkc files gets created when you launch Konatakt. FYI
