But the voters are the entrants ... dont they get enough prizes? :hihi: ... and what about the reward of pleasure as they listen to such fantastic music? :hihi:

... Actually, seriously now, I was thinking along the same lines .... and having a prize draw among voters :)

Hmmmm, a "door prize"? may be a copy of Sylinth1 for every one who votes?? :hihi:

Yes for sure this has evolved to where it works the best for most, and I can see that a part of the charm is to squeeze something out of very little, I guess I just look at it as a newcomer who want's to play with his newly discovered fav toys.. 8)

Agree. Apart from the famous Synth1, freebies are underestimated when there are other true gems out there, but then there's also a lot of not so good that may cause people to dismiss most out of hand.

Cracking idea, if all voters went into a free draw... perhaps even exclude the participants from this as well... :?:

Mac's spot on - people love an incentive.

Umlike us altruists (cough). :hihi:

Best of luck,
Mouxbar

Yeah, it would be nice to offer voters an incentive ....and I agree that participants should be excluded.... would give uninvolved voters more chance of winning, and more might vote! :) ... all we need is a designated prize donation :shrug:

Hello lads and a Guid New Year to you all.

Excellent standard of entries for this OSC (as always) and I've spent this week tramping through the Embra snow to and from work wearing my ears out listening to them. My votes are as follows:

10 - Flexenstein's Lab - Xenobioz
5 - Flex-n-Dance - Totolitoto
3 - Flex-n-Stars - AbstractCats
2 - Flex 'n' Morph - V'ger
1 - Bits 'n' Pieces - Yeager

It was the xylophones and bongos that did it for me. Scores are probably not enough to tip the balance but might make things more interesting on the leader board.

Can I suggest iloSynth-1 for a future OSC? One of my favourites.

OK, I got some counting up to do ( cant be arsed actually, but hey, them's the breaks :hihi: )

Post

OK, here's the story ....

1(1) Flex 'n Morph - V'ger ... 3, 10, 5, 10, 1, 10, 10, 3, 2 = 54
2(2) Flex-n-Dance - Totolitoto ... 5, 1, 1, 3, 3, 10, 5, 5, 2, 5 = 40
3(5) Flexensteins Lab - Xenobioz ... 1, 10, 5, 5, 5, 10 = 36
4=(3) Bits 'n Pieces - Yeager ... 3, 10, 5, 5, 5, 1 = 29
4=(7) The Conversation - Morflex ... 5, 3, 2, 3, 2, 1, 3, 10 = 29

12=(11=) Midnight Hatsize - jon boyd ... 1
15=(14=) Waltz - mrblitz000
15=(14=) Flex N Primative - AbstractCats
15=(14=) Flex-N-Stains - K-Bee

( Voters : 12, total votes : 252 )

Hmmm ... Flex n' Morph ... err nothing exciting to report there :hihi:

Flex n' dance hangs on to second, with a slight gain on whatsitcalled ... erm, you know, that No1 track?
Two big leapers this time around, difficult to say which is more significant! ... the Conversation has sweet talked its way up to 4= from 7th suataining a strong challenge for one of this comp's cool prizes :) ... and Abstract cats is jumping up and down on his bed with "Teddy" in hand right now,'stars' having opened it's account ... in grand style, jumping 3 places with a hefty 3 points ... without the aid of said springy bed :)
Watch out for Flexensteins Lab though, jumping from 5th to 3rd ... and mightily close to 2nd!

Keep the votes coming ... still 4 days to go ... anything can happen ... honest! :)
