Hey Squids,
the sounds are fantastic!
Are there photos of the kits somewhere? I would probably find it easier to remember which kit is which.

Yeah, I did use paypal. Thanks. At least now I know it's not some kind of computer thing.psycle_1 wrote:If you used paypal to pay for the group buy that will happen, it happened to me too.dblock wrote:Ok, Followed the link and back on track. Thanks
And it takes a few hours for the serials and downloads to appear in your account. Did you join today?.
Did encounter something weird though.
The email order confirmation I recieved from support@esoundz is blank when I open it. That's happened before too.

Well the way I see it the next Phase II should go pretty smoothly. All the issues with downloading will be over and graphics issues are resolved and Pay Pay w/ serial numbers completed. So all we really need to do is download our all of the DM2 STm kits.
I'm good to go because I waited and any problems I had I found the answers here just by reading the posts. The common problems I saw were really only maybe 3 or 4 at most and all of them had simple solutions if you watched the posts. The answers were repeated usually every 5 pages so if you missed some you could read it again. Many members were extremely helpful here to so I look forward to Phase II...ready willing and able.

No doubt! I finally had a chance to try out some of the kits in a full mix (well, a bunch of R.A.W. loops I threw together to make a cluttered mix) and I am AMAZED at how well the drums sit AND cut through the mix, with no extra processing. They sound like real drums!!! And I've never been able to say that about my music before (not convincingly anyway).megadude wrote:Sorry, got a little excited.

okay, I am having problems.
Loaded everything, and got the piano to work, but the drums are not playing at all. i looked and the .nki instruments are all in the native instruments/infinite player folder.
Kontact player is hooked up correctly as everything else is working with it (as in the kontact sounds I already had loaded and the infinite player's piano).
I tried to load some drums and it gave a message about merging multisamples. little confused, Kontacts manual doesn't talk about any of this stuff.
can anyone help me out? thanks a bunch.

If I understand the message you are seeing:tried to load some drums and it gave a message about merging multisamples. little confused, Kontacts manual doesn't talk about any of this stuff.
A multi in Kontakt is a set of instruments..in this case the snare the kick the hat etc..each is its own separate instrument, all of which make up a 'multi'. These multis are made by Sonic Reality so you can load a whole kit at once instead of piece by piece.
When you load a multi it always asks if you want to merge it in. Just say yes and it will load.
It gives you the option in case you don't want to replace instruments you have loaded (say you had a violin and a guitar laoded and then you wanted to load a multi of a flute trio..you could do so by saying NO and the guitar and violin would remain loaded..
In the case of these OWD kits, because there are so many instruments\kit pieces in each multi, you will likely always want to say yes to this dialog..

Wow! These kits make JamStix sound absolutely amazing. I had to remap a few sounds (crash and splash), and remove a few pieces from the standard kit to craft a fitting custom kit, but once it's set up it loads pretty quickly and really brings out the best in the drummer models. If you own JamStix, you owe it to yourself to grab the v3 beta and load an OWD kit. You will not be disappointed!

I'm really pumped to try it with Jamstix... does 3 allow you to add more drums or is it still fixed at a certain size??

I tried to add the lowest tom (6), but it didn't work.
I also need to figure out how to map the partially open hats (e.g, 75%, 50%, etc...). I'll probably go after it again tomorrow...but, so far so good!

thanks Chester. wasn't sure what that button was asking; part of me thought it was going to merge the original audio samples or something. that worked. any idea on where to put the 150 MIDI grooves?Chester Desmond wrote:If I understand the message you are seeing:tried to load some drums and it gave a message about merging multisamples. little confused, Kontacts manual doesn't talk about any of this stuff.

it would be handy to merge them all to one.. then you'd only need one key to play the whole kit
