I'm using an axiom pro-->cantabile solo--->vb3 set-up
The problem is that when I assign a control button to a parameter in the vb3 (lets say, toggle overdrive on/off switch) it seems to activate it twice. If I press the button on my keyboard once, the overdrive switch on the vb3 will toggle on-->off instead of just being turned on or turned off.
Is there anyway around this? anything I could do with cantabile/midi controller to remedy this? I'm not actually a midiman so if possible please dont be overly jargony. Thank you.
Set-up seems to be sending midi messages twice with cantabile solo

There is a midi "filter" called "latch controller".
Your keyboard seems to send some kind of "on" when you press your button and some kind of "off" when you release it, like a sustain pedal - a momentary information. When your keyboard doesn't offer a toggle option for the buttons you want to use, this "latch controller" filter might emulate what you need (and more...)
