Or just a bad economy.
Maybe, but I don't think so. Why aren't the Ampeg and Fender editions so heavily discounted?

redshift factor wrote:And one more question. Is my new StealthPedal still going to be relevant and work with this new product/AmpliTube upgrade, or did I just buy something that is about to become obsolete for nothing?
Yes. I love this answer more than anything, and I'm sorry but I cannot say exactly why. On the base level of this product we're speculating about? Big YES. But it applies in a great way that is totally unexpected too. Remind me to clarify this post-NAMM (or during). I'll have to get the KVR browsing working well on my phone, so I can keep you posted. Maybe I should offer some exclusive MMS and text to some of the power hitters here haha :D

Anyway, "this" (hehe) will have the same communication with StealthPedal that currently exists. We're very proud of that sort of integration and it will continue.

Well, Ampeg SVX was available as part of the 4x1, and it is included in the Thomann bundle. However, what you're suggesting does reinforce my theory of AT2, JHE, and Metal all being rolled into one, with Fender and probably Ampeg remaining separate.

So it's NOT an X-Gear iPhone app, then? :hihi:

I would LOVE to have even one AmpliTube model on my iPhone! Don't get me excited!!!! Oh wait, I work here. Dang it, I suppose I'll put it in the suggestion box.

Hi Peter,
thanks, but I already own all current AT software.
Like you suspected, fuel for the fire only !

Whew, susiwong's back and there's gonna be trouble.... :) Hibidy too, and in the other thread I gave him the word on his metronome issue so hopefully he'll be soothed, though.

Peter, if I could hold off on buying a Stealth Pedal for a few weeks or months, would it be in my interests do so because of this new product? I'm thinking like some sort of bundle pricing, or even some hardware to go with this...

I can't say for sure, but you might as well wait the short time until NAMM just to make sure so there's no regret. Then you can go get an iPhone to run the nifty new app (ok that wasn't nice... and I quite like GrooveMaker)

Post

Well, I've already got me an iPhone so I'm good on that front. A touch screen controlled wah-wah would be pretty sweet though.

Would you use the iphone for a pick which doing that? Sounds like it would be wicked beefy. Maybe apple will just start an add on, ipick.
